As you know by now, I am a little late to doing some of these posts and comments. Even though it is summer, many of us have things to do other than just hang around. I personally have been crossing off many things from my bucket list already this summer. I wrote my first complete song, which only took me about five to ten minutes. I pretty much wrote it about how even though there are troubles that bring storms into our lives, we are able to persevere through them and come out even stronger. Then, I wrote my second complete song, which ended up taking about the same amount of time as the other one. I wrote that song about how even though life is hard sometimes, there is a safe haven for people who need the protection and love that they never had (a.k.a. Heaven). I started writing a third song, but I didn't really like how it sounded so close to second song I had just written, so I discarded it. Anyways, other than that I have been pretty lazy. Spent most of the days watching YouTube and playing games like Minecraft with my friends. However, some other cool stuff happened as well. I will talk about it in the next 5 blogs I do, but some amazing stuff happened for my birthday and I can't wait to share it.
Honestly, turning sixteen is something that you look forward to in our house. For most people it is usually just that you get to finally drive. For me though, it is a different story. Turning sixteen means that I can finally date! Although this kind of excites me, it is also kind of worrying. I can actually show my affection towards another person while wondering if I am doing a good job, or if they think I actually do care for them. I probably won't date anyone who I think is immature though. Also, I am pretty sure that no one would want to date me anyway. We will leave that to decide another time. Thanks for reading!

ReplyDeleteI felt the not being able to date until sixteen because my mom was the same way with that and thank goodness she was because I avoided the people I needed to because they would get mad or say something about not being able to date until sixteen and although at the time I didn’t get why she did this, but I do now and that it was because some people are so immature and even now at seventeen they still are but I will say that you will find the right person when the time comes and there is no need in rushing into things if your not sure about the situation. Also with those songs I think you should share them if you feel comfortable about it because I think that write in your own songs are pretty cool and I have a hard time doing that. Although I have the lyrics in my head, when I try to go back and write them down it never ends up the same as I had it in my head and that is because it gets lost in my head and it seems like it all disappears from my mind. You should write some tips on how you write the songs and how you come up with the words that are needed to put in place.

ReplyDeleteWriting a song is incredible! I have always wanted to do something like that. I have found myself making up lyrics but I could never get the instrumentals just right for my liking. I think both of your song topics are so cool and relatable for so many people. I think once you have the songs 100% to your likings then if you want you should share them so other people can appreciate your talent! I hope the rest of your summer goes really well and congrats to turning 16 I am sure it will be so much fun!
