Time means what?
Time means something
Time means what you think it does
Interpret it
Count it
Read it
In elementary we're taught that time is limited to a round thing with two metal pieces and numbers
But when you're waiting
But when you're hurting
Healing
Crying
Dealing
Coping
Thinking
Scratching
Bleeding
Screaming
Time means more
Time is a lot of things
Time can be a torture
Time can be a healer
Time can be a killer
Throughout time,
You have to think, you have to exist, and you have to be
And it's not simple
Tick
Tock
A gush of wind
A point of a finger
A slanted thought
A sly comment...
A dismissible text...
Black and grey pictures on a tv
Slowly whispering commands into your head
And continually telling you
"it'll be get better
in
Time"
As it
Slowly
But surely
And climatically
Gets worse
As you
Of course
Quickly
Escalate to thoughts that shouldn't be
As you discover things about yourself
As you trace parts of who you are
That you don't want to lift the sheet off of
That you don't want anyone to see
A scar that you're screaming
"HEAL"
At
But it never will, but of course everyone says
"In time"
time is scary
Uncertainty comes along with time
When?
You'll never truly know
Anything but now
The time now
You won't know the time tomorrow
Or how you'll be
Or how you'll get through
But of course
I swear to you
Everyone promises
If Only
You'd
Just give yourself
And everything
And your thoughts
And everything you're feeling
Time
That you'll be okay
"In time"
And I'll be okay
"In time"
And that in time
I'll be happy
And that in time
All I'll be able to say about it then is,
I gave it time
Don't limit time to a thin piece of metal held to the wall by a loose screw..
Time will forevermore mean and be and exist as more
I cant even think of what I want to say about this. This blog is so good. I can relate to almost all of it. I think it's with blogs like this that ignite peoples minds to think. before reading this log I didn't think much of time, but now.. I have like a million and one thoughts going through my head about life and time. time and life. I never thought much about how to evaluate time before.
