There are always random things that always pop up in my head that I think hard about sometimes. Some of them are logical and some of them are the most dumbest things to think about. Here is a list of some of the things that randomly pop in my head that you could either, help me figure out or think on them too, I don't really know.
How could someone just come up with some letters and we form words with them and use them to this very day?
How much does it really take to make a iPhone? My phone cost nearly nine hundred dollars! Now I bet you it didn't cost nearly that to make it.
Why do teachers like to torture us with summer assignments? Do we not do enough work all the other months we are in school?
How do we constantly have electricity? Don't take this question like I'm dumb. I know there are power plants, wind mills, and solar panels. But, wouldn't we run out eventually?
Can we make a car that runs off of strictly sun light? Imagine this! Your car is setting out in the harsh summer heat (like it is now). All of that sunlight that is hitting the car, somehow runs the car so that you can get from place to place just like a regular car.
Why do plane tickets cost some much? If you have the whole plane full of people, why are they still three hundred dollars just to fly to Florida?
Why do teachers not get paid more than they do now? Look at all of them doctors, surgeons, nurses, orthodontists, dentists, etc. How do you think they came to be who they are today?
Why has the world progressed so much in a lot of different ways since my parents were my age? I know we got technology but still. How could someone not find these things in there times?
All of these things are some good things to think about if you ask me. There are a lot more things that just randomly pop in my head but I have no answer to.
These are really good questions to sit and think about. For the alphabet question, maybe someone just got bored and decided to write random down lines that now form letters which make up the alphabet. I googles the an IPhone 5s costs 213$ in materials and an IPhone 5c costs 156$ in materials. So obviously the IPhone company is ripping you off big time. Teachers torture us in school to prepare us for college. In college you will have a lot of assignments. However, Ford has been coming up with an idea for a solar powered car. Airplane tickets cost so much because look at the money that is being spent on fuel, pilots, workers, etc. Teachers don't get paid enough because some idiot must have thought they don't deserve that much money. The world has changed because people are getting more cruel and only think of themselves and not how their actions will affect everyone else around them. I hope this answered your questions! -Ambria Curtis
ReplyDeleteall of your questions are very interesting and valid. I often wonder about things like this as well. like who the heck got to name things and make up words. can anyone do that? also I really like the one about teachers that is insanely accurate like we would never progress if it weren't for them so why do they get paid less than most. the light energy powered car would be amazing, think of all the gas money we could save. I think you should patent the idea and let it make you a billionaire later in life. but also how would that work for people who live in places with less sunlight such as Oregon, Washington or the frigid, snowy places that don't receive much sun. all fun things to think about! I miss you Wesley! me you and matt need to hang out again soon :) this was Sydney adams 21st comment
ReplyDeleteI really liked this. I bet it took people awhile to come up with the alphabet and start forming words. About the iPhone thing, you are not just paying for your phone. You are paying for the labor used to make the phone, the costs of keeping the factory running, and of course people have to make a profit from it. I think that it would be cool to have cars that ran off of sunlight, however it would really suck on a cloudy day. I think these questions are very interesting and fun to think about. -Hattie
ReplyDeleteThese are great to think about and make your mind work. I also have random questions and ideas pop in my head. These usually pop in my head when I think I'm ready to fall asleep. It's like my brain says " you thought you were going to sleep? Nope". The question of why teachers don't get paid more is one I think about all the time. I mean they do teach us almost every thing we know. They help raise and teach football players, doctors, lawyers, and scientists. Without teachers and school we would never learn how to read and write. These are the basics we need to become doctors and lawyers.

Wesley, what pops in your head is very interesting. I think what pops in your head is all very logical. Teachers should get paid as much as doctors because they would not be who they are today without them. I believe plane tickets cost a lot because you still have to like help pay for fuel , help pay workers who are working on the plane, and gas for the plane. I think technology should evolve and make it to where cars lights would become solar panel but instead when the sun goes down and it's dark is when the lights come on. -whitney wagganer
