Sixth Blog Post Of The Summer - Dezarea Jones

Hey Guys! In the lost blog I talked about my trip home from Wisconsin. I am going to talk a little more about it. I was at Trevis’s house when my mom showed up with my 3 younger sisters. They talked about how they trashed my bedroom, so of course like a teenager I get mad. I tell them they will pick it all up before we have our bonfire. We talk a little while more at Trevis’s and then we left. On our way home we all just talked about my trip. When we pulled into the driveway Wade(my dog) was barking like crazy. Before I even get my things out of the car I go to the door to get Wade. When Wade realized it was me he went crazy! While getting my things from the car Wade watched me and stood beside me. When I walked into the house the girls were telling me “Oh No! You can’t go in your room! It is such a mess!” I sat my things in Bri’s room and loved on Wade. Finally the girls said I can go in my room, but I have to read the note on my door. The note talked about how much they missed me and how it wasn’t the same without me. I opened my door to reveal a spotless bedroom. The girls had cleaned my whole room before I got home. In that moment I was so grateful to be these girls’ sister! My life would be completely different without my siblings! I spent my night eating, playing outside by the fire, and talking before I finally fell asleep. You can’t do much during a 10 hour car ride, but I sure was exhausted when I got home. The day after I returned home I did absolutely nothing, but unpack! I knew I need to do my summer assignment ,but I didn’t feel like doing it! I know, I’m so lazy! The day I came home my papa was released from the hospital! After a couple of days my papa came to see me. You can bet I was so happy to see my papa! Although I came home for a slightly not important emergency, I’m glad I came home. It was different being away, it felt as if I left a part of me behind. I knew if I stayed that feeling would probably ruin my trip. I have missed out on some fun things, but I’d rather be right back home with my family in good ole’ Lake City. It was a good adventure while it lasted. I sure do miss the custards and cheese curds from Culvers! It’s good to be home! I sure do miss my classmates though! With love from me to you have a good summer! See ya later guys!
