My Summer - Melanie Cheesman 7
Since summer is almost over I’m going to use these 350 words to tell you guys about my summer. Summer 2018 has definitely been one of the best summers yet. I’ve been to Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Missouri. Summer started off with my mom and I going to Nashville to go to the Grand Ole Opry. At the Grand Ole Opry we saw Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay, Chris Jansen, Carly Pearce, and Rascal Flatts perform, and it was amazing. My next big trip after Nashville was a lake trip to stay in our condos in Hot Springs. Madalyn and I spent a total of thirteen hours tubing that weekend. We were extremely sunburned, but it was worth it. We spent the entire weekend with my friends from White Hall and my friend that lives in Hot Springs. A couple weeks after our lake trip, Madalyn, Steve, Carlos, Klorissa, Chloe, and I took a trip to Hardy. We stayed three nights and went floating on the Spring River. I didn’t go on another trip for a while, and I just hung out with Autumn, Ashlynn, and Carmen. When the Fourth of July rolled around, Ashlynn, Autumn, and I took another trip to the lake. We went tubing on the day of it, and we hung out with some friends of mine in Hot Springs the night of it. We also had a photoshoot with sparklers hahaha. I took another break from trips after that one and continued to go back and forth from Ashlynn’s house and Jonesboro. Then, I left for Mississippi for a week, and you guys already know that I was back with Autumn and Ashlynn as soon as I got home from there. However, like two days later I left for Kentucky; I then left for White Hall as soon as I got home from Kentucky. Once I got home from White Hall, I went to the river again with Madalyn and her family. Now here I am writing this blog with like two more trips planned before school starts. Last night I went to WalMart with Madalyn, Klorissa, and Mallory and we met a bunch of guys, and it was pretty fun. But yeah, my summer has been full of trips and my besties, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.
awh the lake trip was so much fun!! defiently the best part of my summer. i loved getting to see where you spend most of your summer trips and getting to meet some of your friends, even though they wasn’t very nice lol. i’m super thankful we became so close this summer. couldn’t have had this amazing summer without you mel. thanks for all of the great memories. from all the late night trips to jonesboro and the late night talks and conversations we’ve had. can’t wait for summer 2019 with you. love you! - Ashlynn
