Blog 7 - Briley Douglas

So I’m starting to struggle to find things to talk about here so I am going to ramble throughout a bit majority of the rest of my blogs. Coach Hoffman allowed us to have July and August off and it was pretty surprising because we’ve never done that but it’s also helpful because we do spend a lot of time with him. The off time gives us time to relax and let our body recover from the traveling and ball camps. Even though our last ball camp together as a team was for the beach, me and a couple of others have been playing traveling ball for different teams so even though we have the two months off, we’re still traveling for ball. Because of ball I have found a restaurant that I love more than anything else, Zaxbys. I have never tried it before until this year and I love it. I personal prefer it over Chick-fil-a just because I like how Zaxbys gives us bread and their sauce. At first I didn’t like their sauce but after a couple of times trying their sauce I started to like it more. I used to love Chick-fil-a but after eating it all the times it started to get old and I started to eat less of my meal every time I ate there. Everytime I think about Chick-fil-a, I think about the video where there’s a cow standing by the road with a sign that says “eat more chicken,” and how three chickens comes up and starts fighting him. Then three more cows shows up out of no where and start fighting the chickens so there’s a big brawl of chicken and cows by the road with the feathers flying everywhere. I watched it late at night so I thought it was pretty funny. I’m sort of excited for school because I like seeing everyone everyday but I’m also dreading it because I hate waking up early. If i could sleep in everyday I would be fine but I can’t because i don’t know if I can get the whole half a day off or whatever. I’m done with this blog, peace out.

  1. Hey Briley. I bet it does get very tiring having to play basketball all of the time. However, I know that you really enjoy playing it, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. I am also having trouble thinking of what to write about. But I only have one more so that makes it easier. I look forward to hanging out with you when school starts back. You have always been a very good friend and person in general and I'd like to think we have good time when we hang out. See ya!

  2. Briley I had the same problem with trying to find things to write about. Honestly it sucks when you have writers block. You can not think of anything to write about. It's also hard to ramble on about some things. These blogs really made my brain hurt honestly. I thought it was going to explode. I hates this assignment but it was also a lot fun at the same time. Can't wait to see you at school!!!!11

  3. writing kinda sucks, even though i really love it, i’ve found it really hard to talk about things! having this writing blog algae taught me a lot about time management and how i have none lol! it’s okay though, life goes on. school is right around the corner which is scary but exciting at the same time. i’m ready to go and see all of my friends, however, i am NOT looking forward to the endless pages of work from all of my teachers especially since i have a job now and it’s gonna be super hard!

  4. Hey B it’s me again! Yeah I thought you were phycho when you told me that you didn’t have much ball this summer. I know it’s late but if you need anything else to write about, you can write about how awesome I am.. haha that was a joke. Funny right? But anyways. I don’t know why I’m here. But school is in literally 1 more day :(
