blog #7 - lexi hall

It’s almost 8 o’clock and I’be already been to the gym. My cousin, Bethany, and I decided we wanted to start going to then gym. Every day this week we have went to the gym and worked out. It’s actually been fun going to the gym, it makes you feel so good whenever you get done. I’m so sore from working out. In a few hours I’m leaving to go to Nashville! Hopefully, I get to see some of the country icons and their restaurants that they’ve opened.

These past couple of weeks I have learned to not put off my relationship with God. It’s not something to take lightly and just talk to him whenever I feel like I need to. I get caught up in the moment sometimes and forget what I really need to be doing. Showing people that love that God has for us can be hard sometimes because maybe we just aren’t feeling it that day. Some days are hard and they can drag us down, but when we talk to God about it and have His help in it, it’ll all work out in His timing. My dad sometimes can get under my skin and really ruin my day quick. Honestly, some days I’m not feeling it and almost anything can get to me, but that’s when I have to pray to be slow to speak and slow to anger. There’s no reason for me to get all worked out about something that won’t matter in a month. God will take care of the situation whenever I decide to stel our of the way and let him. This is just a little bit of what I’ve been thinking about recently, as I dig deeper into the Bible. 

School starts in 2 weeks and I’m actually ready to see what this year holds, even though I wish summer could last a little bit longer. They always say you have one summer that sticks out to you the most and I think that this summer is that one for me. I’ve been places I’ve never been, gone to concerts, and made memories that’ll never be forgotten.
