Blog #8 Ally P
Here's another blog and I am getting a little excited because I'm coming closer to finishing this summer assignment. I've already finished the bullet notes and now all I have to do is finish these blogs and comments. Yes, I have actually done this summer assignment, I know you're probably shocked. I'm not the best at working on summer assignments but I was determined to get this one done. Mainly because this class is required for the associates degree. Anyway, I was trying to think of things to write about and I just decided to write about the most important day of my life. The most important day of my life was definitely the day I got saved. It was the most important day because it was the day I gave my life to the Lord. I got saved at church camp when I was in the fourth grade. I'm going to be honest, I was really young and it seemed like everyone else was getting saved so I got saved too. But as the years went on, I don't really know how to describe it, but something just didn't feel right. Of course I went to church with my dad just about every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night but something just didn't feel right. Then there was a revival not too long ago in May and I was invited to go with my friends. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The evangelist was awesome and he brought a really great message. That night I just felt like something needed to happen. I rededicated my life to the Lord and immediately I felt a total change. I can't describe what it was like but all I know is I felt different and better and like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. It was the best feeling in the entire world. I couldn't be more thankful. It was very emotional and I am very thankful for my friends that were there too. Well, I am coming close to the end of this blog because I have just about got the word count and I have got to get the rest of these blogs done. I hope everyone is enjoying their last day of summer! Bye!
