Sittin on da toilet - Ava 2

Hey, what's up? The sky of course... Hahaha. I'm just messing. Summer has so far been the most boring time of my life. I've been reading everyone else's blogs and man, they have some fun. Other than Ella... poor thing. Tell that driver man that he can choke on a corn dog. Tyler, if you are reading this.. stop being a hater tater. I will bring that butter sock.
So, I'm just going to inform you guys that I actually did something that I never thought I would do... I watched Infinity War. I only watched it for Tom Holland. And let me tell you he is the HOTTEST thing I have ever seen. Best spiderman by far. Overall, Infinity War was great. I know I'm a little behind but I'm proud that I watched a whole Marvel movie. I watched the movie with my little brother, Asa. He is a little tit bag for real. He kept getting mad at me during the movie because I probably paused it every 5 minutes to ask a question about what was going on. Me doing that resulted in Asa throwing the remote at me. It hurt. (Bethany is probably reading this and getting angry at me.)  Oops.
Not that anyone cares, but I am going to go see my Grandma and Grandpa next week. They live all the way in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. yay. It's an 8-hour drive. I get to sit in a car for 8 hours with my tit bag of a brother, my stepdad who drives like a granny, and my mom who will definitely get on to me and Asa for yelling. Aren't you jealous? This trip will be a good one though. My grandma hasn't seen me since I was eight years old and she has never met Asa. That means she hasn't seen me since the 2nd grade. She hasn't seen us because she is terrified of driving in any way shape or form. I haven't seen my grandpa in about 2-3 years. He is very funny, go with the flow kind of guy. And I want you guys to know, I will be watching the whole Twilight series on the way up there.
Suck on this Tyler. My blogs aren't a that bad dude. Well, I guess that is all I have to say. I hope yall have a good day and yeah. Go poop or do something man. Go eat some shrimp tacos because those are the bomb diggidy. Be proud that this blog made some sort of sense. The other one "sucked" according to Mama T. And yeah... smoke some cigs, eat twigs and hug pigs. Love yall.

Tyler Peaster- Greers Ferry and Lazing Around- Blog 1

Everyone else used the "my summer has been great so far" to begin their blog so I'm in a pickle trying to begin this one. I'll hit up the thesaurus real quick.

My sunny season has endured tremendous goodwill for my current experience. My family and I went out to Greers Ferry lake back on May 25th. We brought a lot of snacks. I ate a whale. Not a literal whale, but the Goldfish ripoff. We got a lillypad, which oddly is blue and square, so my little brother, Luke, could get out in the water some. The water was extremely high. The water was so high, the top of our pontoon wasn't far from hitting the bottom of the bridge that goes over Greers Ferry! Most of us were at least a little burnt, but my stepbrother, Dillon, got the worst of it. My stepsister, Ashlyn, was the one that had to put sunscreen on his back, and she did a terrible job. His entire upper-back looked like a ripe tomato. Other than going to Greers Ferry, I've mostly been lazing around. My Youtube watch time hits ridiculous numbers. It's basically a mixture of playing basketball outside, going to Greers Ferry, eating food, and watching TV or playing games. In early August, I get to go to the beach again. That'll be fun, but I'm getting mentally prepared for the wrath of the Florida sun on my skin. On Memorial Day, we had my grandma come over for a family get together. Always support veterans. I'm running out of things to write about. The other day I found a Snapping Turtle in my yard. Their name is snapper now. I wonder where they went off to. I almost fell in lava in Minecraft and had a near heart attack. I can not stop watching Gordon Ramsay.

I would like to send my greeting to anyone who is currently viewing and assessing this blog I have posted for our Advanced Placement Language and Composition summer assignment. I hope every single one of you endures a tremendously good sunny season this year.

Ella Servadio - Blog 1

So far my summer has been good. I came back to Mississippi for the summer so I could get a job and spend time with my friends and family. Well, once I got here, the owner of the place I was supposed to work called me and said that she doesn’t need an extra person for this summer. So now I’m jobless, and I’m trying to find another place to work. I’m not having any luck. But I’ve been helping my boyfriend move in to his new house since I don’t have anything to do during the day. It’s hard because he doesn’t like to listen to me when I tell him an easier way to do something, so I’ve been getting really irritated. You would think that since I’ve moved before he would listen to me but no. So after we got all of his clothes and stuff  moved in, we went grocery shopping. It was a MESS. I was shopping like a normal person would, grabbing things I know were needed. Well, next thing I know Logan has grabbed his own buggy and was grabbing unnecessary things. By the end of the shopping trip, he had his whole buggy full of stupid things, like toys and “wall decorations” even though he already had plenty of those. Needless to say,  I made him put them all back. At one point, he tried to grab individual rolls of paper towels instead of getting a value pack. I felt like I was shopping with a child. This weekend I went to the races. It was a really packed because Tony Stewart was there. Tony Stewart is a famous Nascar driver if you don’t know who he is. He ended up getting wrecked out of the race because he really isn’t that good of a sprint car driver. After his race, he had agreed to sign autographs and stuff, so I took some kids over there to meet him. I guess he was mad he lost because he was being very mean to everyone. He didn’t say anything mean, but you could tell he didn’t want to be signing autographs and taking a bunch of pictures, which is understandable I guess. It was kind of a bummer for the kids though because they were so excited about meeting him. I’ll be back at the races this coming weekend, but I’ll be making $50 for babysitting while I’m there. I don’t know if I want to save it or spend it on shoes or a new swimsuit. What do y’all think?

Lake trip -Anna Mason #1

Hey guys so far my summer has been pretty flipping great. Me and Leka just got back from the lake and we are so burnt but hopefully it turns into a tan because this girls needs to get some color. We attempted to tie dye shirts one night after we put the boat up and well of course leka got the dye all over her hands and it stained them. We also were downstairs a lot playing pool and I beat her butt everytime no matter what she says. And we took the boat out hopping to see some hot boys but all we mostly seen were old people and I don’t know why. But in the end it was a great trip. There is also this amazing diner that is right around the corner from our lake house and they have the best peanut butter pie. And i really don’t like pie but heck this was amazing. And I probably gained like 100 pounds since this trip because all I did was eat and I’m not even sorry about it. Oh we also had a photo shoot because you always have to have your Instagram feed popping for summer. On the way home we had a singing party because road trips aren’t any fun if you don’t sing. And we stopped by McDonalds because your girl was hungry once again. And I wanted to try something different so I decided to get a chicken wrap (BIG MISTAKE) it was so gross. I only ate the chicken out of it and threw everything else away. Leka also was pretty sure she was getting car sick and which was making me sick thinking about it and it was just a rough ride. And so now I’m sitting at home eating Cheez Itz, working on this blog, and watching Pretty Little Liars. I know I’m late for starting it but i started it a while ago but never finished so I told myself this summer I wouldn’t finish it. Tomorrow I and making a god girl decision and going and getting a job application because this girl is broke and needs some new clothes. And so I’ll update y’all later on let’s just hope I get it.

Austin Cottingham-1- Summer projects

One of the many things that is happening with my family this summer is that we are fixing a new property for our whole family. This means going and clearing debris from the houses and shops that came with the property. So far I have spent many afternoons tending to this property and making sure that everything is getting done as well as being fixed and moved. I also have started many projects of my own out at this new homestead such as a forge or foundry, beekeeping, gardening, and many other projects in the works, like a custom workshop in one of the smaller shops, although it is a bit rough it will get the job done no matter what happens. One of the many important things I have learned is the  ability to have some patience and persistence. I have had some help from my friends and family who have been interested in the certain projects that i'm starting from this new foundation of land. Diving in to more depth with these projects i'm going to start with the gardening. We are growing all sorts of plants that include, Corn, Cucumbers, Watermelons, Cantaloupe, Okra, Black Beans, Thai Chili Peppers, Ghost Peppers, Strawberries, Peppermint, Spearmint, Lavender, Onions, Radishes, and Pumpkins for this Halloween. Growing all of these plants and spices have been a challenge although a fun one at that . Most of the plants we take care of had to start in pots and then slowly grow into the ground once we planted them because the Arkansas soil is very sandy and dense. The next project that we started was the dynamic of a forge, this was a very tough project to achieve because of the amount of metal, bricks, time, effort, and design tweaks that helped it grow. It started as a fun idea then it developed into an actual thing. I cleaned bricks in my grandpa's back yard then started drawing a design that would allow me to know how many bricks to use. Then once you get all of the bricks together you have to get coals to burn and a blower that stokes the fire making it burn hotter. Then once you have all of that you have to find a crucible like the bottom of a fire extinguisher that we cut in half. Then you can throw your metals in the bottom of the crucible in the fire. Then either put the metals in a cast or beat them with a hammer to shape them into something you may need. One example would be the spikes I made to build the raised beds for the garden in the back of the property. Summer is full of fun projects at this new place, I will keep you updated.

Y’all ugly - Ava 1

Sup y’all, well I don’t know about y’all but I am bored as heck. Let’s all just take a moment and realize that Ava Hayes has started her summer assignment not on the last day of summer. WOOOOOOOOOOO. I’m not really sure what to post but you know that’s just how it be you know that’s just how it be. I also had log onto this on my phone it only took me 45 minutes to do it. Super mad but you know I’m still doing it that’s all that matters. I’m just trying to change my bad habits of procrastinating this is the only thing that I have not procrastinated on my whole life. But we all know that... don’t you know it it’s ... you know ... okay I’m gonna procrastinate this at the end of the day we all know that. So I’m just going to tell you a couple of my summer goals because why not we all know we don’t care to read this it’s just a thing we have to do that interrupts  all of our summer plans because that’s just how school works like they can’t just leave us alone. I’m already getting depressed just writing this. And I want you all to know I’m not typing this, I’m using the microphone that translated into text because I’m too lazy to type or do anything... but eat...  you know eating it’s just so good... oh you know what sounds really good right now barbecue. Maybe even some coleslaw..  French fries and cheese oh no… Oh my gosh I’m getting hungry just writing this ... Do you think this will count? ...Does this count as a full paragraph? I’m adding a lot of periods but who cares. You know I’m just scatterbrained. I can’t do this I’m done. I’m just gonna publish this. Hope you enjoyed! I can’t really tell if this is the word count but we’re just going to say it is because this account won’t log onto my computer and this is what happens OK so yeah. I love all of y’all. I hope y’all have a great day drinking some pin-a coladas and smoking some cigarettes and looking at beach pictures cause you know you ain’t going to go and yeah so I love y’all and miss y’all. There’s many more of these dumb paragraphs to come. Oh crap! I just realized I didn’t write any of my summer goals dang it crap fire.... I don’t care enough to write anymore. I will I’ll see you later.

Bryce Despain - 1 - Completely Bored

So far my summer has been really exciting and enjoyable. Next week I start working, which I am ready for because I get to make money. However, it also kinda sucks though because I know that I’m gonna be really sunburnt, because I’ll be outside for up to 8 hours a day, for at least three days a week. Even though I will be getting sunburnt, I won’t really care because I’ll be making some major bank.

Since I’ve been out of school, I have mainly been hanging out with my friends, but when I am not hanging out with them, I am at home, which I think is really boring. There isn’t really much to do at my house, besides go outside and play with my dogs. However, as you know it is pretty hot and humid outside, so not only do I get hot real fast when I go outside, but they do as well because they both mainly have black coats of fur. One of my dogs name is Onyx, he is a pit bull/mastiff breed, and loves to run around constantly, he is really full of energy, and he is also a huge dog because he is a mastiff. My other dogs name is Chopper, I know it’s a weird name, but I did not choose to name him that. Chopper also loves to run around like Onyx, but he has way more energy then Onyx. Chopper is a pit bull/boxer breed, and although both of them have some pit bull in them, they look nothing like a pit bull, they look more like the mastiff and boxer breeds, which is confusing to me. I guess it might just be something to do with their genetics, but I wouldn’t know anything about that because I’m not a scientist.

Now that it is summer, I’m also trying to read more books, because I’ve heard that it is a good way to pass time, especially when you are bored. The thing is though, I don’t really like to read, but I’m willing to because I might learn something new from doing it, like building my vocabulary. I hope that everyone has had a great summer so far like me, and continues to have one as well.

Beth 01 - My Personal Zoo

I'd like to start by saying that my summer has been great so far, and I hope that the rest of you can say the same. Now, to address the title of my first post: I have a lot of pets.
I'll start with my pride and joy, Zylen. Zylen is a bearded dragon (not a fire-breathing dragon. I'm not Daenerys Targaryen) and he is approximately four years old. I got him on March 8, 2015. Zylen has a growing disorder, so he will never be as big as other beardies. His favorite things to eat are blueberries, watermelon, collard greens, and any kind of bug he can get ahold of.
Next are my dogs, Maximus and Klinger. Maximus is a Great Dane. He likes to hold on to my shoulders and "dance" with me. For size reference, I'm 5'9" and he can still easily lay his head on top of mine when he stands on his hind legs. Max is a sweetheart but he often forgets how big he is -- he thinks he's a lap dog. Klinger is the exact opposite of Max. He's a Teacup Yorkie. Klinger is full of energy, and he tends to bark a lot. He likes to steal socks while I'm doing laundry and hide them.
Recently, I caught a catfish and named him Barney. He's living in a big aquarium with some other big fish. Barney's been doing really well in there and he enjoys eating all of the food that falls to the bottom of the tank. When he gets bigger, his name will be dinner.
Mrs. Teel caught a green anole and she's letting me keep it over the summer. I call her Noelle. She has a really nice setup and she enjoys climbing everywhere. I guess all of that climbing and exploring led her to discover a way out of the tank. She escaped twice before I was able to find out how. The lid wasn't sealing correctly; however, I've since fixed the problem so little Noelle hasn't escaped in about three days.
I have more animals, but they aren't cool enough to make this post. Anyway, Brittany wants her laptop back so I'm going to end this. Goodbye.
