I'll start with my pride and joy, Zylen. Zylen is a bearded dragon (not a fire-breathing dragon. I'm not Daenerys Targaryen) and he is approximately four years old. I got him on March 8, 2015. Zylen has a growing disorder, so he will never be as big as other beardies. His favorite things to eat are blueberries, watermelon, collard greens, and any kind of bug he can get ahold of.
Next are my dogs, Maximus and Klinger. Maximus is a Great Dane. He likes to hold on to my shoulders and "dance" with me. For size reference, I'm 5'9" and he can still easily lay his head on top of mine when he stands on his hind legs. Max is a sweetheart but he often forgets how big he is -- he thinks he's a lap dog. Klinger is the exact opposite of Max. He's a Teacup Yorkie. Klinger is full of energy, and he tends to bark a lot. He likes to steal socks while I'm doing laundry and hide them.
Recently, I caught a catfish and named him Barney. He's living in a big aquarium with some other big fish. Barney's been doing really well in there and he enjoys eating all of the food that falls to the bottom of the tank. When he gets bigger, his name will be dinner.
Mrs. Teel caught a green anole and she's letting me keep it over the summer. I call her Noelle. She has a really nice setup and she enjoys climbing everywhere. I guess all of that climbing and exploring led her to discover a way out of the tank. She escaped twice before I was able to find out how. The lid wasn't sealing correctly; however, I've since fixed the problem so little Noelle hasn't escaped in about three days.
I have more animals, but they aren't cool enough to make this post. Anyway, Brittany wants her laptop back so I'm going to end this. Goodbye.
Hello Bethany. I'm hoping to comment to most of everyone's blogs. Not sure if it will work out, but you're first!!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of zoos, I've got one it seems as well, but only of dogs. My daughter's boyfriend just bought her a teacup yorkiepoo, and the dang thing is so small I'm not sure it qualifies as a dog. My goldendoodle Max thinks the puppy is his toy and my old Brussels dog snaps at it when the puppy gets too close. It's supposed to be her dog, but I feel like I'm doing most of the work.
