Do I have to keep naming these? - Ava 6

I'm just gonna force myself to get these done. I don't want to wait anymore. Bare with me through these random topics, okay? I guess I am going to write about yearbook in this blog.
I'm gonna fill you in on what it's like to be in yearbook. Trying to fill a book with a lot of happy school memories is harder than people think. Pictures is the easiest and hardest thing about it. If you think about it, a picture is just a moment in time. Us yearbook staff have to capture those moments.
For example, while people are sitting at a basketball game having a blast, eating pop corn and drinking their "sodie water", there is probably a yearbook staff person sitting up on the bleachers taking pictures. We try to get cool action photos of the girls and guys playing basketball. It's really really hard. People are always walking around. Surprising enough, the refs seem to be the most troubling to me. Anytime I tried to take a picture of someone, it seemed like the ref's hand would cover my shot or even just him running in the way.
I personally love taking sports photos. I love getting action shots and pictures that you won't ever get again. Basketball is the hardest to take pictures of ^ as you can read. The easiest is probably cross country or tennis. If you can get in the perfect position and time, the picture will be amazing!
A lot of people don't like their photo taken. I don't blame them because I don't either but it can get a little frustrating a points. In yearbook, we take time to look over who is in each photo and how often do we see them because we can't just have the same 10 people who like their picture taken to be in the yearbook. We love to see everyone's face in the yearbook so if a yearbook staff member asks to take your picture, please do it! We just want to make sure everyone is included.
The best part about yearbook is editing. If you're a creative artsy person, yearbook is for you. I really like designing the Senior pages. Everyone in yearbook has a different style of editing, so if you see what I designed on one page, you can probably tell who else's I designed. I would describe my style as like a vogue magazine cover.
Yearbook is something I absolutely love and I'm super passionate about it.
Like last year, y'all will see my wandering around with a camera in my hand. Just smile and say cheese!
