-----Grant Smith #8 Guy Punches My Truck So I Return The Favor
Well, needless to say, I have had a interesting summer. Including my truck getting a dent in it. Ever had that happen to you? Well, it certainly happened to me. It all started out when I was hanging out in a public place with some friends. We decided to all gather around my truck and talk about all sorts of things. I had gotten thirsty while talking, so I decided to go get something to drink from the nearby gas station. I came back and parked my truck in a different yet close spot to where all the people where. I got out of my truck to talk to some of my friends near my tailgate. We were all enjoying time together when I suddenly heard my name called from a few feet away, so I go over there and talk to this person. In the short time while talking to this person, a young man starts to walk by us, in the direction of my truck. He proceeds to get closer to my truck and decides he is going to make a bold decision. Well that decicion was not a good one. After he made this decision of what I thought was a slap to my truck, I paused. He did not slap it. He had punched it. He had hit it hard with all fist and knuckle. So I was in shock for a good twenty seconds. I wondered in my head, why someone would do such a thing? It's not like I had a problem with anyone there(not yet). It's not like I had done something to him. I didn't even know the guy.Well following this action, I proceeded to walk over to his car ,because ,who gets away with putting a dent in your truck? I was followed by three close friends of mine there to back me up if things went south. I went over to his car and knocked on his window so he would roll it down. I then, very strong wordedly, suggested that he leave before I have the police come. He was struck with confusion. I then made it clear to him of what he had done and told him to leave again. Well, he mumbles a few words back with an intoxicated smell on his breath and puts the car in drive. I then thought it would be over until he stopped the car after driving four feet. He then put the car in park, opened the door, and made another, bold and bad decision. The decision to approach me. I felt threatened, and decided to make a dent myself. Not a dent in his car, but a dent elsewhere. Don't punch peoples trucks, the end.
This is one of the most interesting posts I have read so far. The ending really had me laughing. However, it is sad that some people have no respect for other people's property. My grandparents own a condo in Florida and it's crazy how other people treat things that are not theirs. It sucks that your fun night full of friends had to end up with an intoxicated individual doing something stupid. He was also stupid to be driving while intoxicated, especially since he was already being violent. Other than your truck getting dented, I hope you had a good summer. Try not to dent anymore people lol- Victoria #6
