Beth - Trust

Trust may be a small word, but it means a great deal to me. Trust is as strong as an "I love you," and it's worth more than gold. Trust can make or break a bond if you abuse it, even if that bond has stood for a long time. Trust can be hard to come by - it's hard to gain, and you can lose it in a snap. To have one's trust is to have one's faith in your hands. It is the most prized thing one can gift to you. Guard it.
I have found that I have few friends that I can trust. Some I trust with big things, some I trust with just small things. I have a few friends that I know I can trust with my life and all it has in store. They have helped me in times of need, just as I've tried to do the same for them.
Trust is frail so you should strive to not break it. It won't be the same once its shards have been swept back up. No one is quite the same once their trust breaks. Some bits just can't be found, some don't fit the same. While we may not see it, trust is what grounds us in this world. Trust may just seem like a small word, but it holds more depth than we care to give it.
