I first noticed it when I was lifting weight and I felt it hurt really bad. I figured it was just something small I did and it would get better over time and I wasn't really worried about it. I went on with the weights and didn't do much of anything because it hurt pretty bad and just stopped. I had practice later on and it hurt during the day but I still didn't think much about it. I was practicing through it then all of a sudden I got hit in the stomach right where it was at and I fell to the ground and hurt really bad. I realized then something pretty bad was wrong so my mom came and got me and we went to the E.R. and figured out something bad was wrong. I had to get x-rays and a CAT scan and all of that just to get told I have a hernia. One thing after another and they said it was pretty bad and they got me surgery fairly quick. It took quite a while to recover which all of you know. But I am healthy now and everything is fine.
One thing you can take from this is that never try to do more than you are capable of. Surgery is not fun.
