A best friend is the person out of all your “friends” that goes the extra mile for you. The person that will come over late at night because you need someone to talk to. They will even wake up early to go somewhere with you because you don’t want to go alone. A best friend is the person that gives you a shoulder to cry on after a breakup. Best friends are hard to find, well the good ones are.
A best friend isn’t someone who goes around telling all your secrets behind your back. They aren’t the person that will go hang with people you don’t like, and the whole time they are with them they are mean to you. That isn’t a best friend. A best friend isn’t the person that constantly gets you in trouble, because a real bestie wouldn’t want that for you. They know what you are and aren’t allowed to do.
A best friend is someone you can go everywhere with. Go to the movies, family trips, girls nights, out to eat, and whatever else you can imagine. Someone that is always up to do anything. Someone you can always count on to have your back. The person you don’t have to worry about telling people your secrets. They are like your phone you just feed the information that they keep to themselves. A best friend is like your safe haven.
A best friend is more than just the person that always ask for things, and never puts the effort into the friendship. You will know who your best friend is when you finally find them. It will be the person that I described throughout the paragraphs. A best friend is your person.
This is a great word to use because not very many understand what a best friend is and you described it perfectly! You went off on this essay! Loved reading this!
