This I Believe - Carmen Campbell
Its not every day you miss half a school year. But this isn't just any school year. This was our senior year, the year we was supposed to make so many unforgettable memories, make amends with broken friendships before parting ways in the real world, and being apart of more than just a class. I've cried several times just thinking about not being able to do just those things, but I realized that in a world full of hate and chaos maybe this is what we need. Time. Time to realize that God didn't put use in this world to be selfish. He put us here to spread His word; and now is the time to do so. Weather I get to mend those broken friendships, make more memories, or be apart of such a special class, I'll always carry the Lord with me. One bible verse that always stick with me and hopefully will lighten the hearts of some of my fellow seniors is Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
