This year, church camp was the best. I don't even know how to explain it! So many people backed out at the last moment, but the people who went were the ones meant to go. I became friends/acquaintances with so many people and can't wait until I am a Dorm Dad.
I met one person who was struggling with the same things as me, and we grew really close. We message each other everyday and pray for each other. I have never really had a male best friend before, so this is really exciting and life changing. I don't know how I made it through life before this. I have been through so much, but none of it has been bad. Everything I have went through from moving homes, switching schools, and leaving behind everything I love has been for the better. If my whole life was just leading up to this point, I would be satisfied with anything. I am satisfied with anything.
The food was amazing! We had all the different churches help serve food to us and even make us drinks and camp t-shirts! If I had known what was going to happen at church camp, I would have never gone being grumpy. I am far from grumpy at this point. I can date now, I can drive now, I can work legally now, what else could make my life better than Jesus?! Nothing honestly, He is the reason I am always happy. I already have plans to go and hang out with my new best friend. Also, our youth group is actively growing! If you ever want to come and check us out, go to 117 Cobean Blvd. at 5:00 PM every Sunday night! I would love for you guys to come. In fact, there is a youth rally at another church this Sunday and we are going! I really can't wait for what will happen in the future.
