Hey guys!:) I hope y’all are all doing well and enjoying your summer. Even if you don’t care, I’m doing fine. Bored a lot, but fine. I decided that I’d get another blog out of the way today, so I’m gonna rant about something I love. Which is reading. I have a ton of books on my phone, along with reading several actual books that I buy or check out from the library. Like music, I use reading as a way to escape. When I’m stressed, I read. When things are rough at home, I read. When I’m fighting with someone, I read. When I don’t want to do any work, I read. Reading has been something I’ve been able to rely on these past few years. It allows me to forget about the bad and stressful things in my life, even if it’s only for a few hours. I love reading. Mostly I read fiction. Sometimes I’ll read a few biography books about interesting people. Several genres catch my eye when I’m choosing a book. Romance, comedy, mystery, and crime books are all types I love. I also love books that teach self love and motivation. Lately, I’ve read several books not having much of anything else to do. I’m not complaining though. The first book I read this month was Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee. It’s the second book for To Kill a Mockingbird. It continues Scout’s story, but later in her life. She tries to find herself as a woman and other things after returning home. It’s an amazing read for any of you who actually liked To Kill a Mockingbird. I remember when I seen the book, I threw a fit for it because my copy of it is a beautiful hardback. It’s weird but I love books that have wonderful covers. Not that I don’t like ones that don’t. My latest read was Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. It was also an amazing read. It taught me a lesson, which I love when books do. Embrace who you are. That’s literally something I took from this book and will hold on to. I realize this is probably long enough. So I’ll stop. I just really love reading.
Bye :)

I admire your passion for reading! I wish I read more books than I do. I’ve seriously always looked up to those who love to read. I think it’s such a good hobby to have. The last book I read was the one for our summer assignment and I can’t even remember the book before that. You’d think I’d be super obsessed with books considering my house looks like a library. It looks like that because my mother is an English teacher and reading fanatic. I wish some of her love of reading would’ve rubbed off on me. One of my goals this year is to read more books.

Brittany! My reading friend!! (I should have done a blog like this lol) I love reading too. It's a great escape from the stress of everyday life. Almost like a best friend that's always there for you when you need them. I think the most consistent thing I've done this summer, besides softball, is reading. To me, it's always been like watching a movie that no one else could see. All the characters seem to come to life and hold a special place in your heart for the rest of your life. I mostly like fiction too. My favorites always seem to be Fantasy, Adventure, Mystery, Sci-fi (depends), and Romance.

He Britt. I care how you are doing. You are a very good friend of mine, so it matters to me how you are doing. I like to read sometimes, but it really depends on the book. If it is a really good book I will want to read it. It takes a lot for me to find a really good book though. I like Science Fiction book, such as Star Wars, and books with action. It is hard for me to find a book that I really enjoy. I am glad that you like reading though. Reading is good for you. And if you really enjoy reading, then it is easy to do good things for your brain.
