Well I have two journal entries left to do. This time I'm going to talk about music and musicians. Older music is far superior to newer music. Anybody who disagrees, well I feel sorry for you. Music back in the 20th century was real music. Everything that was produced in music in the earlier days used real instruments while today's music just use synthesizers and instruments that have been recorded and can be altered on a computer. Earlier music didn't have voice alterers like todays, what you heard on the radio was what you heard in person. We all know we have been to a concert to where they sound worse in person. That wasn't the case in the earlier days. Many musicians could play multiple instruments. There was a musician, Geddy Lee, who was the lead singer for a band called rush. Geddy could play the guitar and keyboard and sing all at the same time. He would use his feet sometimes to play the keyboard while using his hands to play the guitar all while singing. Now that's a musician. All Cardi B can do is mumble. I mean I love rap and everything because it gets everyone hyped up, but its not real music. Now some musicians today do play instruments, like Ed Sheeran, but many do not. Another great musician was prince. There are many things people don't realize about Prince. Prince's first album, For You, was a hit, but he played every instrument that was on that album. There were 27 different instruments used on that album. He also never had a producer because he produced his own music. He could play 12 instruments before he was 15 and learned his first song on the piano at the age of 7. Now I can promise you that nobody is more talented than prince. Also in the years of 1960, the Beatles happened. They were one of the greatest things that had ever happened. They were charismatic and was always moving forward and were way ahead of their time and paved a road for future musicians. The drummer of Def Leppard, Rick Allen, lost his arm in a car accident in 1984. But to defy the odds, he kept on playing and still was considered one of the best drummers of all time with only one arm. This is why older music is superior to newer music.
