Austin Cottingham 9 - Math and Future Things.
Most people often fall into the certain schedule of the typical summer routine by working and laziness streaks. I personally fall into this schedule often, and I find it difficult to escape these almost colossal boundaries that confine you into your certain schedule. Some symptoms of this for me would include the slowing down of my summer projects, taking to long of breaks when I should be getting back at the task at hand, also the general state of lethargy that hangs around like a smog. I am sure that I'm not the only one that thinks and acts like this. With the upcoming math Accuplacer I really have to kick into gear because I would much rather over prepare for what is unknown than under prepare and get my butt handed to me, and not be able to take the class. I have been cutting out the lazy parts of my work habits to help me in the future. Also a future plan that is gonna be fun is me and my dad are going to Nashville to see a leading blues artist perform in the Ryman, which if you don't know is a historical music theater established in 1892 by leading blues artists. This theater has almost as much historical importance as Nashville itself. Adding to this trip we are going to visit the Gibson guitar factory, maybe getting shirts along with the process. After that we plan on wandering around Nashville for about two or three days visiting guitar places and dinners, because we have nothing else to do. This trip has some promise to be one of my trips I won't forget. If I got to get a picture with the blues artist Joe Bonamassa I would definitely not forget the evening that is for sure. Also you might see me making blog posts about this because of the sheer amount of info that I could give people about the Nashville places we go. That way if one of you went there you could maybe try it for yourself and see if my review was any good. Anyways thank you for reading and hope you guys are getting your summer projects done!

I am the same way with with working and laziness streaks. Some days I do so much and learn what I want to learn whilst posting multiple blogs, then other days I am lying on my couch playing Mario Maker 2 all day. I'm terrified of the Math Accuplacer. I don't have to take it and pass as soon since I'm taking regular Math, but I know I'm very under-prepared for it. I did miserable on the Math section of the ACT. Anyways, I hope the rest of your summer is great, and I hope you have fun in Nashville!

ReplyDeleteHello you silly goose, first I would like to say that you should feel honored because I’m posting my last comment on one of your blogs, so you should feel very special. Honesty when you say that you have fallen into a schedule where you don’t wanna do your summer assignment and stuff, I don’t really understand why people wait to the last minute to do them. I mean I get it, people want to enjoy their summer off from school, but if you do a little at a time throughout summer, you are way better off and won’t be so stressed the last week of school when you finally start on it. I’m not talking about you of course, just putting this out there. Personally I started my summer assignment the first week out of school, and I’ve been doing it ever since, now this is my last comment so, bye.
