Beth 05 - Oh Wow, More Plans

As you can tell from the title of today's post, I have another trip coming up.
Honestly, I should've spent today packing instead of cleaning; however, I can't bring myself to leave for a few days with the house being all gross. Apparently, I'm the only one who thinks the house gets messy as I'm the only person ever cleaning it. Anyway, I'll pack later tonight or tomorrow morning. It shouldn't take too long -- this is just going to be a weekend trip to the river. The river trip is always really fun, a huge group of people my parents work with all go out and spend the weekend together. It's a really laid back trip, which is why it's one of my favorites.
This past week has been pretty wild. I've been going to the gym nearly everyday to do mostly leg workouts to strengthen my leg for my upcoming surgery. I'm still really nervous about the whole thing, but I've convinced myself that the stronger I am before the surgery, the quicker I'll recover and be cleared to play sports. In doing this, I've completely exhausted myself--I slept for nearly twelve hours last night. I feel pretty good though, and I'll probably go again tomorrow depending on what time we leave for the river.
I don't really have much to talk about other than that, so I guess I'll talk about these summer assignments. I'll be posting blogs more frequently because I know if I don't then I won't get them done in time. I also haven't even started on the other half of the assignment, but that one shouldn't take too long. I have an assignment for another class that needs to be done, and I've been working really hard to finish it. It's not hard, it's just time consuming. I think I'll really start in on these blogs when I get back from the river. I'll have something to talk about then, surely. I might even start writing some short stories as fillers, I don't know.
Anyway, I'll have my 350 words by the end of this closing statement.
See y'all later.

  1. I can never leave the house dirty if I am leaving for a trip. I refuse to do it honestly. There’s honestly something so satisfying about coming home to a clean house. Maybe I’m weird for thinking that, but coming home to a house that smells fresh and clean is refreshing. I always turn on a sensy pot before I leave. Those things are really great because they won’t burn your house down like a candle will, and they work just as good if not better. I also really like laid back trips. I don’t like having to go and do stuff all the time when I’m on vacation. I prefer to just chill and relax.
