Hey guys!! Long time, no talk. A couple of days ago I got back from church camp. Church camp was an absolute blast. The ride to Smithville wasn’t absolutely terrible this year. Usually, I get a stomach ache or head ache on the way up there. This year was a lot better. When we got to the camp, we went to registration to see what color team we are on. This year, I was on the color team blue. We were called the Blue Crew. I knew pretty much everyone on my team this year so it felt like a little family. Anyways, throughout the week we competed against other color teams. We played dodgeball, volleyball, and we did some like obstacle course. All of it was fun. I didn’t get as burnt as I thought I would. Everyday before the games, I never really did but everyone else would paint on themselves a little bit to show they were on the blue team. One day, a boy we called West Memphis was completely covered in little sayings and blue. Sadly, the Blue Crew did not get the most points by the end of the week. Our team spirit of painting our selves blue and team work wasn’t enough, haha. I will say this, though, there was a lot of drama at the camp, but what do you expect when you get 213 campers all in the same place. I thought what we had this year was a lot but i was informed that that camp holds 400. I couldn’t imagine 400 at church camp. Over all, in one week 17 were saved and 13 rededicated their lives to Christ. God is so good. Every single worship service there was not a single eye that was dry. We were all worshipping together and the Holy Spirit was moving. Overall, it was such a good week. Can’t wait for next year.
Hey Courtney, I am so glad you had fun at church camp that is amazing. I am glad you new almost everyone on your team. I am sure the ones you did not know you made friends with, you are good at that. That sounds like a lot of fun. I am glad you didn't get that burnt because that would have sucked. Awe that sucks your team didn't get the most points, but at least you still had fun. That makes me so happy that 17 people were saved and 13 rededicated their life to Christ. Can't wait to catch up with you Tuesday. ---Cailey Qualls (10)
