Tristan Smithee- #6

Hello, so this weekend has been pretty packed. It started off on Friday night. I went to go get Jaycee, my little cousin, from her grandmas work. Because instead of spending the night like we had planned, she wanted to go spend the night with her grandma. I was happy she wanted too. Anyway I didn't know why she wanted me to come get her at first. On the way I was running through all the possibilities of what had happened. When I got there it turns out it was none of my thought up reasons. I walked in and everyone was running around getting stuff together. It was literal chaos. I walked over to my aunt and asked what happened. Turns out her son was in the hospital in a lot of pain. I then asked what had happened and she told me. She was heading to the hospital and Jaycee didn't want to go up there. I totally understood that. So we headed off to Andy's, ice-cream makes everything better right? We got our order and went back home. We spent the night watching movies and letting her sing and dance around. I really didn't think she was going to let me sleep. On Saturday morning, we woke up around 10 am. My grandpa had made breakfast. We had eggs, bacon, gravy, biscuits. Really any breakfast food you could think off. After we ate, I went and started to get ready for the barrel race. My grandparents had a wedding to go too. It was just going to be me and Jaycee. After I got ready I helped her. We stopped by the hospital and checked on her dad. Around 2 we headed out to the barn to get the horses. My friend's grandma didn't want me to have to haul alone, since my dad had to work a little late. So we ended up riding with them. Jaycee and the little girl had a blast. After everything was over, we went home and got ready for bed. She was out before I even got back to my room. Sunday we hung around the house still being tired. We did go spend time with her dad. Today, we went to the park and had a good day. Now I am working on my project while she plays. I hope everyone has a good week!
