Grant Smith- Dancing Mrs.Larkin

It was our senior class party. We held it in a old community center with a lot of decorations.We were taking turns dancing and it was my turn to step forward and show off some moves. People said that dancing is a very nervous thing when you're in front of people. I didn't believe them before.Now I understand. I started to sweat in the middle of my dance when Mrs.Larkin came up to me and told me that I needed to dance on my head. There was no way I was going to do that unless she was going to dance with me. So she turned upside down and started spinning on her head. She had convinced me that she was for real about dancing. As she was spinning,it looked like she was going to stop and start another dance. As she turned, she swung her leg out and drilled Leka in the face.Leka was knocked out and fell backwards into the chocolate fountain.The music stopped. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. I went to help Leka back up and I noticed blood everywhere. I was wondering why she was bleeding all over her hands and then I saw it. It was broken glass. We rushed Leka to the doctor and fortunately she was okay. Before we left the clinic, the doctor said."No more of Mrs.Larkin spinning on her head."
