Blog 6 - Briley Douglas

It’s weird thinking how we only have two more years of high school. I know it’s cliche to say but it feels like yesterday I was going to open house for my seventh grade year. Lord how much has changes since then. Even though I say I’m ready to leave high school, I’m going to miss all the memories that I’ve made. Like the time that one new kid pulled his pants down on his first day, oh my lord that was priceless. Or how bad we behaved in Ms. Freeman’s class because we never listened to her despite how many times we got into “trouble”. By trouble I mean how she would try to get back at us by making a row of people stay back like 30 seconds after everyone else. Honestly I don’t know why teachers hold their class after class as a punishment, like yea we might get a tardy but it’s their fault because they held us back. I’ll miss Mr. Conner when I graduate. Makes me sad that we won’t be able to throw him birthday parties randomly throughout the year. This is for third period Algebra, y’all remember all the times Michael would do something out of no where or ask inappropriate questions. Or how many times that kid would be leaning under the table or hanging on the table like a sloth. He was something else. I’m sad that he moved mid year because I know he would have enjoyed all of our parties, though wouldn’t bring anything but that’s okay because his entertainment made up for it.  Thinking about it, it’s weird knowing that there will be some people who I see every day at school, but once we graduate I will probably never talk to them again. There’s some people I’ll be sad not seeing everyday but there’s some who I will not miss seeing everyday. In conclusion, high school has been a roller coaster for me but I know it has been the same way for everyone else. I’m just glad I didn’t have the whole drama filled school years like some people, though there’s been some juicy stuff happen. Okay I’m done with this blog, peace out.

  1. I'm pretty much ready to graduate school. I know I'll probably miss it when I'm gone but I won't miss all the homework and tests and stuff. I'm not ready to go back to school though. School ducks. The only thing fun about the school year is the weekends or when the clock turns to 3:10. Oh well. - Eli G

  2. it for really is scary how fast time passes. it doesn’t feel like we should be graduating so soon and leaving this place that we’ve made enemies and life long friends in. i will never forget micheals joke, they honestly made that class so much fun. i definitely missed him and his jokes after he left. i miss school very much though, this summer was absolutely amazing but i’m definitely ready for my junior year. xoxo carmen c.

  3. I agree too Briley, school goes by so fast and micheals jokes were hilarious. I think the funniest part was that he truly wasn’t trying to impress anyone, he was just being micheal. I remember when he wanted me to sit beside him in class because Conner called me his girlfriend. That was funny. Our birthday parties were the best. It stinks we won’t have them anymore :( I look forward to the new experiences with teachers we have not had before. I’m sooooo ready for high school to be over and to start my life! -lotts
