This I Believe - Grace Anne

Trust me when I say that I've seen my share of bad days, weeks, and months. With that being said this leads me to believe that tomorrow will be better than yesterday. I remember doing really bad on a test in the second grade. At the time I thought that my world was over and I was going to be a second-grade dropout. Now I'm about to graduate high school not only with my diploma but also with my associate's degree. I broke my ankle in the sixth grade and thought that I would never play basketball again. I was fortunate enough to go to the state tournament and even get to the finals. My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia, had to go through chemo, and stayed in the hospital for about a year. She's now in remission and at home.
Sure things today aren't great the coronavirus is spreading quick, there were those bushfires in Australia. These things are awful but imagine how great it'll be when there is a vaccine for the virus, and the fires have officially been contained. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but what if the cure for cancer is found, or you win the lottery.
Some days will be rough, sometimes it might even feel like the world is ending. However, there will be good things to follow. You also have to be hopeful for better days too. Seek the good in every situation, and enjoy the little wins. There will be days where believing that tomorrow will be better will pay off. Be optimistic for the future because great things are coming. So believe me when I say tomorrow will be better than yesterday.

  1. This was amazing, Grace Anne. I one hundred perfect agree with you. The sun will always rise the next day and that is what we forget about. That tomorrow is coming. Even our worst days only have twenty four hours, remember that. Autumn Courtney

  2. I agree but I also don't but that's just because I am pessimist. I will say though, we have all made it through the bad days. Sure, more bad days may be coming but at least we are alive right? - Kaitlyn Reed

  3. There has always been a saying that has stuck with me when I have bad days, weeks, or months. "Its not a bad life, its just a bad day." I believe wholeheartedly that the things we encounter in life shape us to our truest forms. Always think on the bright side and remember that the glass is half full not half empty. - carmen campbell
