Discipline is quite regularly found as the most important thing parents need to teach their children. There are many reason why this is. One reason it is important to have discipline is because it leads to knowing right from wrong, and good from bad. When a person knows what is right, but yet does the wrong thing it is known as being undisciplined. Being disciplined as a kid sets you up for the rest of your life.Personally, discipline is something that I strive to excel myself in everyday. I try to show up on time, no matter how hard it is. This includes getting up at 5:30AM for a baseball workout, or showing up to practice afterschool on time. Discipline can be found not only in sports, but also in schools all around. Kids can show discipline by showing up to class on time, but also using that class time wisely, learning but also not disturbing others. Discipline is not only important in children though, it is also important in adults. When adults stop showing up to work on time, they are often wrote up, or punished. Several accounts for this can cause a loss of a job. Discipline also comes into paying bills. An undisciplined adult will typically buy unnecessary stuff like expensive vehicles and big houses when they really can’t afford them. Throughout every aspect of life, discipline is important. It can lead to better students, learners, workers and parents. Discipline keeps you focused on your goals, and keeps you from giving up at every bump in the road. It can make a better society and a happier place to live.
Eli: Discipline is very important. I have a cousin who wasn't disciplined very much when he was younger. Lets just say he's turned into a pothead and everything else you could think of.
