Channy's Journals #11

You may be confused as to why the number of this journal entry is eleven. I am going to be numbering these backwards so it will be easier for me to deal with the fact that I am going to be writing these all in a matter of a few days. It will be kind of a countdown sort of deal. That way when I am done writing these I will feel even more relief when the countdown reaches zero. Hopefully, this will also make reading these more difficult and complicated for Mrs. Long. What these are going to be is just like a collection of everything that is happening and has happened over the course of the past two months. Some of these journals may also be just me writing stories. I wrote a story for one of the journal entries last year, and I thought it was somewhat decent at the time. I read it recently and thought it was absolute garbage. So hopefully I can come up with something better than a omniscient figure watching over a troubled teenage girl, protecting her from the elements of a rough upbringing. While I think the idea is interesting, it’s been done too many times before for me to make it special. I wouldn’t say I have a certain writing style, but I am really hoping to improve upon that in the coming school-year. Speaking of which, I am ecstatic for the start of school. I look forward to trying not to break my Chromebook again this year. I look forward to seeing everyone and getting back into the hustle and bustle of a regular school day. I cannot wait for basketball to start so I can finally enjoy the games as a spectator, as I don’t plan on managing again this year. This is because I still won’t be able to drive for most of the season. This really doesn’t matter, it’s just an excuse not to do it. Anyway, I am ready for August 14th, and I’m ready to offer scathing reviews on everyone else’s journal entries. Ciao.

  1. hello Mr. Channy this is your good buddy Jacob. When I saw you had posted I very excited, however also thought you were cheating. that 11 wasn't fooling anyone other than Griff and he's not in this class anymore. Now I know you much like myself can't wait to get back to the hard work and hustle of the school year, but more importantly we are ready to see griffy once again and hear his stories and let him share his wisdom with us. I hope you have a great last two weeks and stay out of jail.

  2. Hey "Channy," this is Abby. Hope you've had a good summer doing fun stuff. Even though, I haven't seen you once. I'm glad you are excited for school, I wish I was. I don't know how you could be ready to go back because this summer has went by so fast. Also, I can't believe you're not managing. You've been doing that so long, and you need to get your license! I'm trying to catch up on my writing as you can see, but I guess I'm just lazy. Actually I know that I'm lazy. By the way, I like the counting your essays down idea. It's definitely different, but you really don't have a long time to finish your essays and the book. I'm really scared I'm not going to get done. Last year, I stayed up till like the midnight before school finishing my assignment last year. Anyways have fun and make the most of the rest of your summer!

  3. Heyy chandler it's kaylee and i feel like it's in your nature to bug ms.long. Actually i think it's just ms.long that has people bug her, lol. I think its a great idea to countdown instead to count up , that way it gives you a sense of completion. As for when you are counting up you just stop at 11 which is kinda dumb. I cant believe your not managing the team this year, i feel like couch Campbell might just miss you just a little bit. At least you will be supporting the team like the rest of us from the sidelines. I think that its great that you are pursuing writing have you ever thought of becoming a writer that’d be awesome im just saying.
