As the new school year approaches I am reminded more and more that Griffin Anderson will not be in our English class. After Countless nights of crying myself to sleep I decided to tell the story of the boy that made bald beautiful. We can all agree that Griffin is the best person that we know, and that we should be thankful that he graced us with presence. I personally am a better person for having known him. Knowing the Griffster as well as I do I know he made his decision with the well being of others in mind. He simply could not be in this class because he knew there were other young minds that needed his leadership and wisdom. If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye you don't have a heart, heck I'm crying just writing this. I know it will be tough for Ms. Long not having her favorite student in her favorite class, however she will get over it in time.
The many amazing stories of Griffin have become the stuff of legend and will be passed down through the generations. It has often been said that Griffin's frown can light up a room, and that his two cents is worth no less than a dollar. Across America it is widely known that he cured snow blindness in cats, and invented the wheel. Before sliced bread there was Griffin. I was a firm believer in the elusive sasquatch until Griffin informed me he didn't exist because he had killed that dirty creature with his trusty lawnmower blade. I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me the boots he made out of his fur. Speaking of lawnmowers Griff is what you would call a mower whisperer. Give him five minutes with your mower and he can have it running better than when it rolled off the lot. Since I'm only required to write 350 words I'll stop after these words of encouragement. when your having a bad day remember your not as good as Griffin.

ReplyDeleteHey Jacob . I just want to let you know I'm pretty upset with griffen. I do not think that he Is the best ever . He lost our Snapchat streak not once but twice . I know that may not mean anything to you . Especially since I've never ever seen you on your phone . I'm not even sure if you have a phone if I'm being honest. But This comment is suppose to be about you. It's suppose to be about skin head ... oh wait I mean griffen. I don't think he is Ms. Longs favorite student and if he is God help us all. This is my second comment by the way. I keep having to redo it because I don't put my gosh darn name . This is Cara Williams . These blogs are kind of frustrating. Bye .
ReplyDeleteI've already completed all of me 11 comments, but I couldn't keep myself from commenting is this. 😂😂😂 I love this post, and hope to have more written about the one and only griffen. God bless his poor soul. -Klorissa

Hey Jacob, Landon, LJ? It's Carson Smith. I hope you're having a great summer. I'm really sad that skinhead won't be..., I mean Griffy won't be joining up in Ms. Longs next year. I haven't seen that boy all summer!!! Maybe when we go back he will have grown some hair. I hope all you're blogs are as funny as this one. I'm really gonna miss griff:( English will never be the same. RIP GA
ReplyDeleteYes, hello. I have been missing Griffen very much these past couple of months. I miss his bald head and his stupid parachute cord bracelet. He is a very important person in my life and a vital piece in my growth and a maturation as a human being. His dad may hate him but I don’t think I could ever hate that man. I am actually pretty sure he is an angel God has sent down to Earth to watch over our group of friends. He is the most attractive, interesting, and really just the outright coolest guy in probably the history of Riverside.

I'm glad everyone loves griffy griffy as much as I do.
ReplyDeleteThis had me laughing the whole way through it! Ole skinhead will be missed in the class, well expect for he's moods and scarcastic comments. It won't be the same without his negativity but maybe we can all make the best of it without him. Will be hard but we always got you
ReplyDeleteOh btw that was mal^^
ReplyDeleteJacob great job writing this. Honestly when Mallory told me about this post I thought something happened to Griffen. Thankfully nothing happened and we still have the Mr. Griffin Anderson. I think that i will miss the whole class yelling at him because either he got smart with someone, or just said something that didn't make any sense. Griffen is a character, i think that i agree with Cara though. I don't think that Griffin is Ms. Long's favorite student, i'm just saying. However Griffin will be missed and we will not replace him, but we will be able to get along without him.-kaylee
