Hey Guys! I know I haven’t blogged in what seems like forever! I could say I have a good reason as to why I haven’t blogged ,but honestly I’ve been lazy! So the last time I blogged I left with all of you wondering what I would do. Have Steve and Trevis come get me from Wisconsin or just stay in Wisconsin. I chose to come home. Steve and Trevis arrived at my aunt’s apartment between 7 - 9 the morning after I told them I wanted to come home. The night before I left my aunt had a order for her bakery. We baked 4 different kinds of cupcakes! They were so good! The car ride back to Arkansas was something else! All I wanted to do was sleep, but Trevis and I had to keep Steve awake.( Steve was driving) I poked Steve in the shoulder almost every 5 minutes and asked “Steveeee are you awake?” We were almost to Springfield when I was drifting to sleep and Steve noticed. Steve looks at me and yells “are you awake!?” Of course I jump like any other normal person. After my mini heart attack I just looked out the window for awhile. If you really know me then you know I talk a lot! So of course when I become silent for more than 5 minutes, I get asked “what is wrong?” I tell them I am just looking out the window. On every road trip you take their is jobs for each person in the vehicle. The passenger is to control the radio and navigate. Well I didn’t know if you are the passenger you have to alert the driver when a gas station is near. I quickly learned this as Steve had to use the restroom and we passed a gas station exit. For a good 10 minutes I got a lecture on what all the passenger is responsible for while on a road trip. All in all it was a good 10 hour trip back home! I did learn that I want to strangle myself after a really long car ride with my boyfriend and his stepdad!! The first place I went to when we got back to Arkansas was Trevis’s house. When I got to Trevis’s I had something waiting for me. As I walked into his room I seen Mataya. Mataya is my turtle they got me at their land. I named her Mataya because it means “Gift of God”. I spent time there than my mom came and picked me up. Well this post is a good 400+ words now so I think it’s time to end it. I’ll pick back up in another blog post! See ya later!:)

Hey Dezi! I just read your fifth blog and I've gotta say, wow! You worked with your Aunt on a bakery! That's awesome! (That's what I assumed sorry if I'm wrong ;;v;;) What kind of cupcakes did you make? I bet they were awesome. Anyways, the road trip part made me laugh quite a bit. Everyone has a job? That's really unique for a road trip. Usually when I'm on a road trip to be honest, it's sorta boring. All we do is sit and talk or I just sit back and listen to music and watch the scenery outside the window. It's really nice to look out the window since, not only your imagination runs wild but you notice how everything changes. Even the littlest things change. Like on highway 18 on the big curve entering into the woods on the way to lake city. There used to be a cluster of trees, and there was this giant tree just sitting there. It was huge! Not as big as a red wood though but they cut it down eventually to expand the highway. It was sad to see it go because it was so old. I'm sure the tree had so many stories to tell. Anyways I hope you had a safe trip back! - Tatum Tornkvist
ReplyDeleteHey dezi, it's Klo. It's okay if you laziness takes over. It did mine for a long time. I didn't start blogging as soon as I hoped, that's why I'm trying to get it all under control right now. But I hope you enjoyed your trip back. When you say every one has a job, it got me thinking about what jobs I usually have on road trips. I came to the conclusion that my job is to sit in the back seat and be quiet. Well that if we're taking a family trip. Other wise I'm telling when to turn and look for gas station and food stops. Lol. However, I have a love for turtles, so I can only imagine how sweet it was to have a turtle waiting on you. That's precious. And plus, road trips with the boyfriend is always fun. Well until they get annoying. Sometimes you have to over look the annoyingness thought. Anyway I'm gonna end this comment now. Toodles. :-)
