For my first blog post I’m just gonna explain what most of my other blogs will be about. I decided I want to be extra and have an ongoing theme to my posts. Many of them will be about things I’ve learned throughout high school, as well as this summer! I’ve grown a tremendous amount this summer as a person. I always have believed that to be the person you want to become, you have to make changes to your surroundings; summer was a great way to start that! I also decided to become more healthy and have a more relaxed lifestyle. I am definitely a major OCD maniac but I’m slowly learning how to control my corrective grammar obsession, neat freak cleanliness, and the ‘everything has to go my way’ attitude. I have also decided this summer to start a few new hobbies and I’ve made new friends who share the same values and interests as me. Living or going to school in a small town makes it hard to find people you can actually relate to and are true friends. I’ve had so many ups and downs throughout this summer but that is what makes me so excited for my future. Every low point or bad day I’ve had only motivates me to become the girl I want to be. I had way more free time this summer than I usually have, granted I spent it the same way I would have regardless of anything else. I love to spend time in the gym and this summer I realized so many things about my future... that include basketball! I also had an amazing church camp this year, which I will explain in another blog post of its own. I am so not ready for school to start, school means less free time to workout, run, eat healthy, relax, travel, and all the other things I love to do. BUT school also brings a closer ending to my chapter as a high school student. In the next two years I hope to learn as much as possible about myself and my future.
Peace out blog #2
