blog #10 — carmen c.
hey guys i’m back with another blog ofc:)) this blog is gonna be a little more sad because it’s a sad subject. so in my house we’re a dog family, we’ve always had dogs and always always always got attached to any dog we bring into our house hold. about a year and half ago my sister got a dog. this dog had been in a terrible home situation, was starving to the point ribs were showing, was eaten up with fleas and ticks, and had scars from where she was beaten. so ofc our kind hearted family took this dog in. she was a black german shepherd and we named her roxie. it took her the longest time to come around and let anyone pet her. she would always pee in the floor if you did try to touch her, it was honestly so heart breaking. months passed and she was coming around to the fact that she had a loving home who was gonna take care of her for life. out biggest dog Ford who is a lab ended up having two litters with roxie and we realized we needed to get her fixed. the puppies she made were so beautiful and precious. she had five from her last litter and we have found a hone for 4 of them, after very little convincing the last one got to stay with us. for a main reason. if anyone knows where i live y’all know that it doesn’t take much for one of my dogs to run into the highway, roxie unfortunately ran into the highway the other night and got hit. she was a great dog and will be missed so much. even though she tore up a lot of my stuff, i will love her forever. sorry for the sad doggy story:// peace out girl scouts xoxo

I’m so sorry about Roxie! I can understand how you feel about losing a dog. My family is the same way, I cannot remember i time where we didn’t have a dog for more than a 3 month time period. I know it’s hard losing a dog because I’ve been through it before. You know my last boxer Mac, it was very depressing when I found out that he died. My family was tore up about it for months, specially over the fact how he died. There’s not a day go by where me or mom doesn’t say how we miss him. I’m really sorry to hear ab this and sad to see you lose a dog that way.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I am so sorry Carmen. This just made me tear up. I have had something similar happen to me. We were gone to one of the boys' baseball games when mom got the call from my uncle that our dog had been ran over on the road and nobody owned up to it. My mom was a coach at the time and wasn't able to really talk to him about it until after the game and then she had to break the news to us on the way home. The boys were hysterical. They were heartbroken. We all were. But, I think I was more angry than anything. -Heavyn Hadl
