The store. So caraway has a population of like maybe 1000 people. I really don’t know the population of caraway. But I do know that there are a lot of kids, like myself who have lived there all their lives. Small towns like this you have a dollar general and a gas station. You’ve heard about the good ol’ days when the town was poopin. My mom says that on the weekend, Maine street used to be bumper to bumper traffic. All teenagers just wanting to hang out. Nowadays, we have the store. It used to be roaches grocery. Now it’s nothing. But everyone will park in the parking lot and hang out. On the weekends and these summer nights the parking lot is so full it can’t hold any more cars. People park on the road. That’s the glory of these good little towns. Everyone knows everyone. And everyone hangs out with everyone. Recently they put no trespassing signs on the store. The place everyone goes to sit. The “hangout” of Caraway, Arkansas. So we moved to the concrete slabs on Maine street. It used to be a bank and I think a funeral home. Now we just sit up there and hang out. It’s really awk. The cops always say we’re too noisy but I don’t see how. I’m gonna miss the store tho. That’s the place to be. So currently I’m sitting at the concrete slabs typing this because I waited last minute and none of my blogs are long enough to post so that’s awkward. So anyway I hope everyone’s summer was as lit as mine was. But I hope everyone didn’t get ran off from their store. Because the store was just the perfect place to be and it’s really cool. It wasn’t a place where people could drive or see you from every angle. Like I hate people driving by. But at the same time, I’m not trying to be shady. Or look like we’re doing shady things. Because we really aren’t. Most of the time.

  1. I do not spend much time around caraway, though I probably should more. I go out there all the time but always go to the same places, because I am worried is that I would get lost really easy.
