College... woo lord the word that scares every high school student. But I’m kind of excited about college. I could go all over the world to go to college but I’m gonna stay at home probably and just go from there. I think I want to go to anc in Blytheville because it’s cheap and not too far from home. I want to go to school to be an rn, and then later on go back to be either a practitioner or an anatsis... or however you spell it. They make bank. And I think being a nurse is cool. Like what isn’t cool about helping people fight through cancer and have a baby or something like that. I mean seriously. It’s cool. My mommas a nurse and seeing how big of an impact it has on her makes me think I would love it too. She comes home at night crying tears of joy because a patient lived another day or because that grumpy old man nobody likes told her how important she was to him. Or sometimes she comes home crying in dark clothes because one of her hospice patients died and she had to go to a funeral. It’s just cool to see how much of an impact on someone’s life she could be. And a nurse always has a job they’re everywhere. But back to college, Blytheville has a program to go straight to rn without stopping at cna or lpn. Then I would probably do the practitioner online. My mom has been talking about doing that for herself. I am excited for college and I think it’ll be worth it.
