As summer has officially started, I realized that I really don't have anything to do. Of course, it would be good just to sit and play video games all the time. I remembered that when I was younger, I was given a schedule to for for every single day of the summer (excluding weekends). I decided that for my benefit, I would make myself a schedule that kept me focusing on more important things other than video games, while still giving me time to play them as well. My days are usually about 14 hours long, the other 10 consisting of a good sleep. I would usually play video games for that whole time, which is no wonder as to why I grew to be bigger than most. Knowing that my dad goes to the gym on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I decided to make that a part of my schedule for as soon as I wake up. The other two days of the week took those out and replaced it with eating breakfast and playing video games. That took up a time slot from 7:20 - 9:30 AM. From then until 11 AM, I would wash up from the gym and then play video games. From 11 to 12 PM, I would take time until June 12 to study for the ACT (I would stop because June 12 I am taking it). Then, I wanted to start spending more time with my family. From 12 - 1 PM, while my mom was still at work, I chose to watch some type of show and eat lunch with my dad (My lunch usually being a salad of some sort). Then I would hop back on games until 3 PM, giving me 2 hours to play. From 3 - 4 PM, I take a break to do anything such as this summer project, but also to write music or read (I do not like to read). Then, I relax for the rest of the day unless I have something for church, like I do on Tuesdays. Overall, I am hoping to lose some weight and still have lots of fun during the summer.

ReplyDeleteHey Caiden, we have been playing a lot of Fornite together ( not recently though). We should get back to playing that though! As far as a gym, I don’t think I could ever go to one. Cheerleading has been my gym so far, and it was pretty grilling I might add. I’m glad you have a schedule, so do I! Well, its more of a to-do list on my dry-erase board. It helps to keep me on track and organzied as well. Please give an update on your ACT, if you can of course. Remind me to give you a reading list the next time we are at youth group together! You can tell me what book genres your interested in, and I can give you some really good recommendations. I know that a lot of people don’t like to read, and I’m always encouraging it! 10/11- Alexis Roberson
