Terry Conner is an amazing human
being. He is a man of great stature and a very muscular man as well. But the
thing Mr. Conner is most commonly known for is the way he lights up the room
with his astonishing smile. This wonderful man is constantly leaving me in awe
with his outstanding works and abilities. Mr. Conner is a very gifted and a
very intelligent man. It was an honor just to sit in his class and learn
everything I could from him; I even counted it all joy just to sit and bask in his
presence. Sometimes I would just have to stare at him like he was a crazy man
before he would ever even think to put whatever it was that he was talking
about into laymen’s terms. He is so overly educated in so many areas that
sometimes I would struggle to even grasp the edge of what he was saying. But
despite Mr. Conner’s every effort to be professional, a lot of the time he
usually just likes to act like a kid and goof around-which is just another one
of his amazing qualities. He likes to make jokes a lot to break all of the
seriousness, especially in his classroom, but he also likes to make them so he
can try and make everyone laugh; and about 99 percent of the time, he easily
succeeds. Any time you’re upset or if you’ve just had a rough day, Mr. Conner
is definitely the person to go see. He can cheer me up with just a couple
simple words.
Mr.
Conner isn’t just gifted with his extraordinary brain, but he was also blessed
with the hands to play tennis. Still at his age of 874 years old, Mr. Conner
works every day at the tennis courts to get better at his game, and he taught
me everything I know about the game as well. All in all, Terry Conner is an
extraordinary man, teacher, coach, and friend to all of his students and pet
cats. But the most important of all is: he is my spirit animal, and I love him
dearly.
Zach Poe-- I loved this blog post. It really made my day, McKenna. I agree with everything you said; however, his actual age is just under 10,000 years old. Like you said, he loves helping students, making people laugh, and spending time with his cats. This blog post makes me like you as a person. But only a little bit.
ReplyDeleteMr. Terry Connor, my homie, is a very special man. I agree 100% with the words stated in this entry and hope that he can stay in our lives forever.

Kristin Helms- I liked this post because I found it humorous. I agree that Mr. Conner is a fun person to be around; however, I do believe you should see a therapist.
ReplyDeleteLarry Tilley- Mr. Conner is a great man indeed but I must say, his tennis game has peaked and he simply can't get better.
ReplyDeleteWow.... either someone is in dire need of an "A", or they've been peeking at my Conner shrine again!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, Mr. Connor. I have mixed feelings about his class. On one hand, I miss his jokes. On the other, man, was he a tough teacher. His goal seemed less to teach and more to confuse. Still, can't wait to have him again for bowling. McKenna, are you sure this infatuation is healthy? After all, Mr. Connor is almost 1,000 years-old. I think he might be a Lizard Demon in disguise.

I agree whole heartedly. Mr. Conner is an amazing human, he really gets me fired up with those khaki pants and talk about asymptotes. *heart eyes* Never seen 874 look that good. -shailey wooldridge
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree with how you feel about Mr. Connor. He is a great bowling coach, and could probably out-bowl me at his age. He posses many great qualities, and his dazzling personality. I think we should all appreciate the man behind the various colored polo shirts more often. But does anyone really know the age of this man? I have heard 10,000, 87, and 874, but we can never know for sure. He could possibly be the real life Benjamin Button. It seems as if he gets younger everyday. I do believe that I may change my mind, seeing that I have not taken Algebra II yet. Even though I will fail his class, I will still be thankful for his amazing aura, and presence that I will be honored to have. Even after bowling as low as a fifty-four at the Regional Bowling game, he still loves me, and this was a hard sin to forgive. Connor forgave me, and he is still my favorite person on the Earth, and we should all appreciate him the way you do.

ReplyDeleteI as well have mixed feelings about Terry Conrad. While he is teaching in his class, I feel as if I would rather rip my eye sockets out and feed them to his kittens than listen to him because I have no idea what he means and my brain would explode if I even tried to comprehend anything he says. On the other hand, he is really funny and knows all the good jams. Sometimes, he even blesses us by singing a tune with his angelic voice. It makes my day when I get to listen to him and Chris Ditto bicker fifth period. So yes, I completely agree with the qualities of Conner that you listed. He is a very swell manboy and I am glad to call him my pal. Even though I curse him out in my imagination every day, CONNER IS THE BESTEST PERSON IN THE WHOLIO WIDE WORLD AND WE SHOULD ALL WORSHIP HIM.

ReplyDeleteI too agree with the great example of human life that is Mr. Conner. As someone who is about to finish Algebra II, which is the first class I have had that Mr. Conner teaches, I agree with a few of the other comments in the fact that his workload is pretty tough, but that said, his class has definitely been one of my favorites this year. The jokes were great and really just being in the same room as him makes a person feel great. His constant pestering of Hattie to join track, or banter with his bowlers or tennis players was one of the highlights of this school year. I will probably never forget the memories that I have made in Conner's third period Algebra II class.
And actually Conner is ageless. He has no age, he just is.
CONNER IS VERRY SMART AND THAT IS WHY HE HURTS MY BRAIN
ReplyDeleteTwo words. Conner is amazing. See most people would say that is three words, but Conner is so amazing he caused his name to transcend word-hood. Conner is incomparable, he is so cool that every major world leader has his number on speed-dial. Putin and Kim Jong-Un, would surrender if they had to fight Conner. Even the person believed to be the strongest man in the world, Chuck Norris, falls to his knees and cries in the presence of Conner.
ReplyDeleteBut to be serious, Conner is an amazing teacher and a great role model. He is always fair in the classroom and helps everyone who goes through his class excel in everything that involves Algebra (if you can keep up with the way he teaches). He is an amazing person who tries his best to help the people around him to be more positive and helps people when they need it.
I've recently realized that my original comment was too short. In this time period I have also realized that a movie should be made about Mr. Conner. It could open with the flag pole being brought up and super Conner being attached to it by the work of a senior prank. It could then pan to a room filled with crying students learning (a term used very loosely) Algebra 2 and Mr. Conner arguing with Chris Ditto. I don't have a plot for this movie but you should know that it, as well as my algebra 2 homework, is a work in progress. All hail Conner.
