Ethan Boatman #8

My perspective on being a twin. I was looking for ideas on what to write about and I was talking with my sister about if she had done all of her blogs and work and certain stuff like that. After a while of us talking she came back with how she wrote about being a twin in one of her blogs. I haven’t read about it yet and I’m not going too until after I post this. I don’t really know her perspective on being a twin but I will tell you all mine.
Me and Alexis are fraternal twins which means we are twins but we are not identical and stuff like that. Being a twin for me is really not very much different than just having a normal sibling. One thing about it is we get compared a lot. When everybody hears that we are twins they freak out. Because me and Alexis are total opposites. I am the outgoing one and the one who likes too talk and she is the shy one. She is the one who always has her work on time and with me sometimes it is on time and sometimes I slack on it lol. People think it is crazy because actually she is older than me. They sit and act like they are amazed at the fact that she was born a minute earlier than me and then they look at us now and I am 6’3 and she is somewhere around 5’3 I’m pretty sure. Not 100 percent certain on that but if you think about that it is crazy. I am a whole foot taller than her and she is the older one. But to me being a twin really is no different than having any other sibling that is a couple years older or younger than you. We don’t really look at each other like hey ur my twin. It is more of just I’m her brother and she is my sister and that’s all we really know. It has its perks and it’s downsides but I’m pretty sure you have that with every sibling.
