Hey guys, I’m back! This topic is going to be “church camp.” I bet everyone was expecting this one from me. haha. Everyone knows the feeling of going to your favorite place with all your favorite people. This place with these people are it for me. This is always the week I look forward to all summer long, but this summer was different. I wanted to go, but I didn’t at the same time. The main reason I didn’t want to go was because all of the people that I had been there with since I was 10 wasn’t going to be there this year. I was scared that it wasn’t going to be as fun and I would just want to go home the whole time. Yea.. i know. I shouldn’t have based whether I was going to have a good time by who was going to be there. If I could go back and tell myself that I was worrying for nothing, I totally would. When we rolled up on the very very cramped church van, the feeling went away. I was super excited. We all jumped out so fast. From the start, people ran up to us and we talked for hours just catching us. Okay.. Fast forward to about the third day. We went to rec and I was on the blue team (the best team). It was a water games day and no one really wanted to get wet, but that changed real quick. We were all so muddy and nasty by the end of it. Since we were all wet and crazy looking, I convinced everyone to go swimming. Well that was not a good idea at all let me tell ya. We were all in a circle playing truth or dare or something like that and this boy said something inappropriate and I might of accidentally slapped him in the face (pretty hard might I add). We were both mad mad, but we all got over it pretty quick. Fast forward a couple more days. It is the last night there which means we had a late swim night. This is also the day that all my “favorite people” came to visit. It was really good getting to catch up with them and to hear how they have been doing. Let’s just say, I may or may not have got into a little bit of an argument with one of the boys that came to visit. haha. ifykyk. Long story short, church camp at my camp has it’s up and downs. It is overall so much fun. I think the best part is getting closer to people that are trying to get themselves together just as much as I am. If any of you guys wanna come party it up with us in smithville next year, you guys are so welcome to. ;))
