Elijah Couch 9 - lake trip

A few weeks ago my family and I all went to Norfork Lake where we have a camper set up and a boat. We had just got this boat and we didn't know how to use it very well. It is a red and white ski boat so you have to know how to adjust the trim well well did not know that so we drove it to a cove on the other side of the lake with the boat almost constantly shutting off. We finally figured out how to work the thing and we started tubing. The girls went first and they did pretty decent at least one of them did. We like to have competitions to see who does the best so to see who did the best this time we set a timer. One of the girls best time was about ten minutes. The other girl lasted like three minutes best. Then it was the guys turn. Seth went first and did awesome he was hitting waves that turned the tube sideways and he still didn't fall off. He would taunt the driver by standing up with no hands holding on to the tube  His best time was like ten or twelve minutes. I did the best though. I was hitting bunches of waves and they'd pop me and the tube up, but I didn't lose my grip. I never actually fell off, mom told me give to someone else a turn so I hopped off. I had a time of fifteen or twenty minutes when I was told to give up the tube. We tried to do double once again guys versus girls. That didn't go so well. The girls lasted under a minute sometimes. The best time for them in doubles was around two minutes. Me and Seth did better though. Our best time was about five minutes. We jumped off big rocks while we were there. One of my brothers was scared to jump off one of them. It was hilarious because a kid that was way smaller than him had already jumped off of the cliff twice and he didn't do it once. He finally jumped off after mom said we had to leave. It was a really good trip and we had a great time
