Hey guys, so today I decided I would talk about some of my goals for the year. Last year I wasn't focused on my school work as much as I should have been. I let my grades slide, more then I should have. I really should have focused more on the work, rather than on personal problems. I wasn't focused on myself, I was focused on what was happening in my family's life. Everything was different, without my mom. Which I had gone through a semester without her the year before, and I buried myself in my homework and everything. This year I want to focus on my work more. Focusing on myself is still a very important goal to me. I feel like I will be happier if I focused more on my grades, not worrying about if my GPA is going to drop, or if I will have a bad grade. My grandpa told me that I shouldn't worry about things that won't matter in the next two years. I figured my grades will be pretty important in the next couple years, since next year is senior year. I am also going to start studying for the ACTs a little more. I took my first one in June, I didn't do as bad as what I thought I was going to do. With the score I got, I could get into college. Probably even a few scholarships. This year I also want to focus on my rodeos a little more. My grandparents, and my dad put so much money into keeping my horse healthy, lining up horses if mine is out. They also spend a lot on entry fees, gas, trailer maintenance, everything. I try to help with my winnings and stuff, but there is a lot. I think they deserve for me to focus on that a little more. I want to make my grades improve from last year, I had a C for the first time ever. I want to have all A's and B's this year. Anyway that is some of my goals for the year.
