To start off this post, let's talk about music. Now, because I want you to get the right idea of what I'm talking about, think of your favorite song. How does it make you feel? Does it make you want to work, or be lazy? Happy, or sad? Inspired, or discouraged? I guess the point I'm trying to make is that, music has the great power of making you feel emotion. And I know that what I'm trying to say sounds sappy, but stick with me here. What else can you think of the is also as readily available, that can also fill you with such emotion. For a movie to have this affect, not only does it have to connect to you on a meta-physical level, but you also have to understand what the movie is trying to say. Music is so much better at portraying what ever it wants to, because anyone can connect with music, because music connect to a primal part in our brain that likes when the instrument makes noise. The effect that music has on animals too is also crazy. Did you know that old elephants will become calm if treated to a nice slow piano is playing in the background? And did you also know that cows enjoy the sounds of a trombone? Music has an effect on every animal on the planet Earth. Music can inspire us to do anything that we want. I don't think I could have survived this summer project if I didn't have on my eighties hits in the background. And that's another thing about music, everyone likes different styles of music, because we are different people (Crazy, I know). There are so many different types of music in the world, that anyone can simply pick and choose what they would like to listen to. You can even have different playlists for different events, like parties, or limbo. Music is just so versatile, that it can fit any sort of niche that we could ever want. Anyways, sorry about going on and on about music there, I was just raised in a musical family. Thank you for reading, this has been Jon C.
