What is the definition residence? Google says, a person's home or the place where someone lives. In a residence, you know where everything is and small details about the place. The place I know the best is the home I live in now.
I live in Lake City. My house is a brick house and I have lived in it for about 8 years. We have two front doors. One is under the carport and one is at the front of the house. We don't ever use the front door. It has a tricky lock on it making it difficult to open. When you walk in my house from the carport, my kitchen is what you walk into. Then connected to my kitchen the dining room. In the dining room, there's a table and an old stereo. The table is not really used much. It's only for like Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
After you go through the kitchen, you turn left and there's a small foyer. There is a small cabinet of old china and knickknacks in the foyer. You can go two different ways once you're in the foyer; left and right. If you go right you walk into the living room. In the living room, we have a sectional and its brown. When we bought it, it came with 4 pillows. We still have them. Also in my living room, we have a big, more up to date stereo system and a pretty big TV. I don't know exactly how big our TV is but, ya know, it's pretty big. If you turn left in the foyer, you go down a hall. Down the hall are 4 rooms. One bathroom, 2 regular bedrooms, and one master bedroom with a bathroom in it. My sister and I have one of the 2 bedrooms and share the 1 bathroom. My parents share the master bedroom. I'm not going to go into detail on the description of my sister's room or my parent's room. My room, though, I'll share a little bit about.
If you go straight all the way down the hall, you've found my room. The walls are paneled and brown. My bed is in the corner across from my door. Diagonal from my door is my desk. I keep my makeup, hair products, extra school supplies, and perfume on the desk. On the corner to the left of my door is my closet. I keep a bean bag beside my closet. Lastly, right beside my door is a keyboard. We've been in my house a long time and there have been so many family memories in that house. I'm very thankful for that.
