Insanity of the Immortal - Brittany Tucker (#8)

“That has got to be the lamest pick-up line in existence,” Genevieve grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Don’t worry,” chuckled Jack, “That’s just Plan A.”
    “So what’s Plan B?”
“To take you hostage,” he smiled at her, showing off his pearly white teeth.
    Genevieve’s eyes widened. “What?!”
Jack let out a sinister chuckle, wrapping an arm around her shoulder, “Don’t worry, darling. Everything’s gonna be okay.”
Genevieve gave him a threatening look, “Remove your hand or I will rip off your arm and beat you to death with it.”
Jack noticed she began to sway slightly, “Are you sure about that, darling?”
“What―What did you do to me?”
Jack grinned, “Oh, nothing. Just wondering how your precious little Slayer will find you when you can’t remember him to tell him where you are.”
He caught her as she fell unconscious, almost slamming into the bar in front of her. Jack smirked, putting her on his back as he exited the abandoned bar. He stepped into the shadows, reappearing in his tower.
Jack turned to his underlings as they rushed to greet him. He handed her off to one of the few female underlings, watching the nurse until his precious Genevieve was out of sight.
He turned to the rest of his underlings, “Get to work. We have to make sure my half-witted brother doesn’t show up to get her back.”
His henchmen nodded, rushing back to do their jobs. Jack chuckled to himself, running a hand through his dark hair quickly, not caring if his fingers got tangled in it. “She’s mine, now. You can’t have her, Slayer―you can’t. She’ll never be yours again if she can’t remember you,” he let out an insane laugh at the thought of his older brother’s sorrow. “I’ve stolen your wife,” he continued to mutter, letting his mind wonder to the girl in the tower above him.
She was beautiful. Yes, his brother knew a pretty women when he saw one. Wine-colored hair and silver eyes combined with peachy skin. Jack giggled to himself, “I have her, and you don’t know. Good luck finding her, brother. You’ll need it.”

  1. Oh my goodness, I love Genevuive so much. "Remove your hand or I will rip off your arm and beat you to death with it." That was my favorite line. I read your other part and to read this it's good to find out why she couldn't remember anything. I was always wondering that before you wrote this. I love how you threw in a jealous brother, because that's going to make things very interesting. You are good with plot twists, though. Please, please write more. I love it! - Kim Wilson
