Crying is a pretty genuine thing
It's not a feeling
But it comes alongside many emotions
It's the bow on whatever present you've received
When you're happy you can cry
But those are called happy tears
Tears of joy
Jumping up and down
Screaming
Crying
Your happiness is just so pushed up your throat that you can hold back tears
So they stream down your face as you thank god for whatever he has laid in front of you...
And
I don't think I've ever had those tears
Tears of relief?
When you're lonely you can cry
When you're in a room full of faces
But every single one is empty
When your heart is empty because the only person with color in their veins seems to me running the other direction from you
Avoiding you at all costs
Loneliness
Dark rooms
Staring into a blank space
And you can't hold back the tears
Because
There's no one to hold you
Depression
I don't think you just cry when you're depressed
Because you're drowning
Sinking with an anchor tied to your ankle while you watch your oxygen tank empty itself

Air bubble
By bubble
Floats to the top
To shore
Where you once belonged
And now can't discover again
So you stare into the abyss of your life as you sink into your self created black hole
And you can't hold back the tears because
You're in a sea full of them
The waves rise
And the waves tumble the waves fall
And the exhaustion rises
Sometimes you cry because you simply need to
Sometimes you cry because you've watched who you've loved for so long uproot their ties to you, and walk away...
Sometimes you cry
And sometimes you don't
And that's okay
Crying is okay
And you're okay
And I'll be okay, in the far stretch of things, I'm okay
