This is just a small portion of the music I listen to, and a short list on my Spotify playlist.
Music is a very important thing in my life.
When I wake up in the morning I'll usually play music to set the tone that day.
When I make breakfast or lunch, I'll play music and sing and dance in my kitchen.
Normally while I shower I'll dance and sing. (Sometimes it doesn't work out so well because it's quite slippery)
But music is the only thing that is ever continually there for me.
It's my medicine. It makes me feel better to know that someone else understands how I feel.
Music is an amazing thing, and the greatest creation.
I don't go a day without music.
I don't go a day without singing, dancing, or humming.
Music keeps me happy when no one else can.
Songs keep me company when everyone else seems to leave me.
I drift away to another world when I listen to music.
It weighs heavy on my heart, and my head.
Lately I've been going through a rough patch.
For nights on end this summer I have laid in the dark while listening to music and crying.
It's a comforting thing to be able to play any type of music I want, at any time I want.
There's various types of music, and I don't really have a preference everyday.
One day I'll wake up in the mood for sad or grunge music.
Some days I wake up really happy, and listen to pop or something upbeat.
Other days I listen to a little bit of everything.
Even when I was little I would dance in my room with my strawberry shortcake radio and my Hannah Montana CDs.
I'm not really a pop star worthy singer, but the people around me should be grateful that I'm a pretty good singer, because I tend to sing a lot.
I love music and every aspect of it.
It's hard to catch me anywhere without earbuds in my hand or my pocket.
I listen to varieties of music, and it's a life changing thing.
Music is a major part of my life.
Bethany, I hope you're having a good summer! I listen to a lot of the same music as you do. And, like you, music is a big part of my life. I agree with you wholeheartedly that music is a great medicine. Like you said, its good to know that some people have the talent to express feelings through song! Music will most definitely always be there for you. It makes me think of how blessed we are to be able to hear! I hate that some people don't ever get to hear any songs. It's so sad! Anyways, like you, I too change up my music moods. On my phone, I have a bunch of playlists. They're titled "chill out", "my hood jam", "old", "party", and "soft//sad". I like to categorize my music like this, because it helps me cope with whatever mood I am in on any particular day. -- Karlee Sanders
ReplyDeleteI listen to a lot of the same artists as you. Music is also a very important thing in my life too. It can show your personality and normally how you feel, as you already said. I would do the same thing when I was little but it was ALWAYS the cheetah girls. I was so obsessed that I had to go to one of their concerts and it was probably the best one that I've been to considering ive only been to two and one was Jason Aldene. I'm notntrelsly a big fan on country music. Most of it sounds like someone is singing through their nose. It's dreadful. -Angel Cash
