The Sky's The Limit #3 --Jo Baker-

What do you think when someone tells you the sky is the limit? I think well what about space? What about all the other planets in the Universe? When you talk about your dreams and somebody tells you the sky is the limit, it's really not. There are so many jobs in the world. There are so many things to do, sights to see, and foods to taste. There is a million and one things that you have yet to experience.
Don't limit your hopes and dreams by the sky. The sky only goes so far. Your hopes, dreams, fears, wants, or needs should exceed even space. I read a quote once, it said " Your life is like a coin, you can spend it any way you wish, but you can only spend it once" This quote made me think a lot. You only get one life. But the time you have during this one life, you should spend it in ways that go beyond the sky.
You should take advantage of every moment you have in your life. You should try to do everything you want in life. You should travel to exotic places, taste new foods, see new things, and experience life as you want to. You shouldn't ever let any form of expression limit what you want. If you're not happy with the way your living, then how will you embrace every experience in life as a wonderful one?
Before the many increases in technology leading up to today, most people probably didn't think there was anything beyond the sky. But today, there are so many things we've discovered that go a million miles beyond the sky. The human race has discovered cells, cures for diseases, tanning beds, insulin, medication, surgery's for the hurt, electricity, even a light bulb that creates light. Seeing how far the world has come today, there's no telling how it will be fifty years from now.
A long time ago, the expression the sky is the limit would've been a perfect example for everybody's hopes and dreams. But here, now, at this time today, your hopes, dreams, wants, needs, feelings, everything that makes you, you.. they should say infinity is the limit.

  1. Jo, I was so intrigued by your writing. I was so inspired to just hop on a plane and fly to Italy or something. And one of my favorite things you said was "if you're not happy with the way you're living, then how will you embrace every experience in life as a wonderful one?" I loved that so much because I never really thought of it that way. Well I guess I've scraped the edge on that topic, but never really thought of it that deep until you said that. I love this blog so much. Come see me soon!!!! -Angel Cash
