My Summer -Ambria Curtis

Summer is the time to hang out with friends and family, go on vacation, relax, make memories and go on adventures. It is also the time we get a break from school. It's the time where we get to create stories to share later on. During my summer, I have spent time with most of my friends. I have been to the park with friends, shopping, and catching Pokémon on Pokémon Go. I didn't really go on what you would call a "vacation," I went to Hot Springs for two days for my sixteenth birthday. It was me, my parents, my brother Ethan, and my friend Shelby. Ethan, Shelby and I spent the first day riding roller coasters and playing in the water at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls. My parents watched us ride roller coasters and stayed in the water park. The rides were really fun and it was very hot that day, so we were all thankful for the water park. The next day, we went to Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo. It was interesting to learn about alligators. In the petting zoo part, there were goats, horses, sheep, and a very evil looking emu. After we pet all the animals and learned about alligators, we browsed through the gift shop then headed home. For most of the summer, I have relaxed. There isn't much to do but sit around the house and relax. I have made a lot of memories with my friends and family and captured all of them so I can look back on them years down the road. I stayed four days with my nana, I've stayed the night with friends, I stayed the night in Hot Springs with my parents, and I have spent time with my aunts and uncles. I have spent most of the summer making memories. As far as adventures go, the only big adventures I've had is collecting Pokémon with friends. So, all in all, I have had a pretty great and eventful summer. Even though I have mostly stayed at my house and relax it has been really great.
