#7 Can You Cook Food in the Dryer? (real scientific research, i promise) - Victoria Chamberlain

    Okay, guys so I found this note buried in my notes and all it says is “Can you cook food in the dryer?” Now I’m super curious and I need an excuse to take a break from writing, but still working on this assignment. It’s 7:25 I’m going to go do some research and figure out if you really can cook food in a dryer. 

7:27pm- Many people on the forum I am looking at are trolls. Someone said to crack a couple eggs and put them in there. That’d be “eggs”tremely messy. Gosh, I hate myself (this is just a joke please do not tell Mr. Ziegler or Mrs.Shey, I am fine.) 

  Other people are suggesting popcorn. That one sounds pretty smart compared to the eggs one. I wonder if anyone’s tried it. It’s also contained in a bag so the like dryer lent won’t get over all of your food. Off to do more research. 

7:32pm- Someone on reddit said, “not really, dryers run 1 degree Celsius per minute, so even if you have it running for an hour it wouldn't even be enough to boil water.” I’m not going to let this get me down, I bet they’re making that up. Also, I would include the link, but there’s some cuss words in it and I really don’t want to be in Mr. Ziegler’s office on the first day back to talk about my post about cooking food in a dryer. 

7:36pm- Well, we’re back to the eggs again. There’s a whole article about tumble drying eggs. It actually made me laugh out loud. This part especially, “The brilliance of this recipe is that yes, you can.... Of course, you’ll have to spend several hours picking the bits of scrambled egg out of your clothes after everything has cooked/dried, but so what? ....  It’s also for the good of the world so shut your stupid face and resort to the tumble dryer.” (That was 55 words so I’ll make sure this post is a bit longer) I feel like Robert low key owns this website and eats tumble dried scrambled eggs. 7:45pm- Well, I just wasted a few more minutes of my life watching a video of these two guys trying to pop popcorn in the dryer. They put the dryer on the highest, driest setting and pour the popcorn kernels into a mesh bag thingy and had no success. I was kind of upset with them. Their video seemed like a low budget Good Mythical Morning video combined with The King Of Random (rest easy, Grant.)
