Sonic-austin 6

So, In april I applied for almost every job in the NEA and only one of them called back lol. Sonic called me back for a interview.
The next day I went to an interview, and I was really nervous. I shouldn't have been because the interview was really chill. At the end of the interview she said she would text me if I got the job and I was like "okay"
After a month I honestly thought I didn't get the job. But then one day during school, Megan text me and said that I got the job.
The first day I started it was a nightmare. I had to learn what went in every drink, blast, shake, and cakes. It was so stressful.
Then I worked a Sunday morning, and if you work in the morning that means you work through happy hour. That was a holy nightmare. Everyone comes from everywhere to get drinks
Half price shakes and happy hour are the worst.
Then after a little while it got better because I knew what I was doing. And I became less shy and made more friends up there. Making cones are still hard to me. Its honestly really stressful whenever we get new blast, shakes and slushes because you have to memorize what goes in each one
Sonic is a great place to work. I may hate it up there, but its fun (at times)
I recently started learning how to take orders on the switchboard which is very complicated. Everything is abbreviated and in different places.
But between people getting arrested in the parking lot, to me fighting off possums in the shed, I love sonic.
