You can wave at your friends
You can make a not so nice hand signal when you're mad
You can make a heart
You can make the TØP clique signal
You can make gang signs, even if you're not in a gang
You can motion for someone to come towards you, or leave
Hands can also be used for other types of expression...
Like when you get married
You wear a ring on your finger, and that's the universal signal for
"Hey it's not morally okay to ask for this person's phone number"
Hands can also be used as a sign of love
People hold hands
People fall in love
People touch
And feel
When you're in love sometimes
you can't keep your hands off of them,
and that can be a bad thing, and a good thing...
Affection
But the most acceptable sign of love or PDA in public is holding hands....
You can use your hands to touch
And feel
And show compassion to another person
From a young age
Babies discover that if you point at something everyone will understands
That's what you want
a more mesmerizing form of expression with hands is:
Sign language
Some people are born unable to speak
Some are born unable to hear
Due to this we as humans made modifications in our communication system, so that they too could communicate in this world...
And I understand that some people are born without hands
Or maybe something happens and they cannot use their hands the way they were intended,
But hands just make life more interesting
Hands are an art
A form of art created by God
And a way to express yourself naturally
And how you feel
And what you want
And who you love
And what you like

ReplyDeleteI admire how you can literally write about anything and it sounds so good. I admire sign language because my cousin is deaf and sign language is the only way she understands anything. She can read lips somewhat but that's about it. I also love that hands show affection And think it's perfectly fine to hold hands down the hallway although I got in trouble about 48495843728595 times my freshman year for that. Oops. I laughed so hard when you said "you can make a not so nice hand sign when you're mad." Because let's face it, I make mean hand signs all the time -Angel Cash
ReplyDeleteI think hands are a very important thing in life also. My grandpa is deaf and can't speak. Me and my sisters learned sign language at a young age as a way to be able to talk with him. If it wasn't for sign language a lot of people would not be able to communicate with their loved ones. I like how many advances have been made in the world for needs just like this one. And I loved the part where you stated " Not only are they useful for picking up things, they're a form of expression." You really can use them for so many different things. I love this blog.
